Valley Drugs is an independent pharmacy with a small town charm, offering easy in and out service. It is a Regence Blue Shield Preferred Pharmacy with similar rates to larger stores but without the long wait time. The staff and pharmacist are generally friendly, polite, and helpful, willing to answer questions and quick to fill prescriptions, often within the hour. The store is clean and features a convenient drive-thru, helpful text notifications, and a good supply of standard and specialty items. However, customer service can sometimes be impatient and make transactions feel uncomfortable or inconvenient. Occasionally, they cannot fill prescriptions due to insurance issues, which is frustrating.
They sometimes won't fill prescriptions ordered by my doctor but it's because my insurance won't pay for them. Super frustrating but it's not their fault.
