Is this store even open (1/26/2024) ? I called their Auto Service Center yesterday & today and all the phone does is ring & ring. I called their Operator and same thing but this line eventually just hangs up on you.

We were here for the first time as Walmart has left Portland. The store is huge! Also very organized and clean. We had several employees offer to help us find items. Checkouts were open with courteous checkers. Parking lot was huge so we had no trouble parking. Of course we spent lots of $$ as prices were much lower than most other retailers. We went for a specific product they were selling and bought all that our freezer had room for. All in all, a very successful outing!

I just don't know how Walmart thinks operating a skeleton crew and chasing opportunist shoplifters around the store is bettering the shopping experience. I don't usually shop at Walmart but I stopped by for some small appliances, in the time I was there I saw more regular employees following a shoplifter than working the floor, they still only have one aisle open but thankfully they gave the little old lady that usually works the only aisle open a night off, seeing as I've never been in that store without seeing her and Seeing that she's got to be in her 80's I truly hope she's taking more time off. That being said this store has continued to regress, irony was that even with the active game of hide and go seek they were playing with thief's I didn't see any police outside, it's almost like they got rid of Loss prevention and started going only to floor work using regular employees. If this is the state of Walmart it won't be long before they do site only, and honestly I'm ok with it. That shoplifter is one reason my vacuum and blender had to be escorted to the front by an employee. So irritating the behaved suffer consequences for the delinquent. I have shopped here 3 times in 2 years, do yourself a favor and go less than that.

Outside Walmart to pick up an Uber eats order taking way to long to give us ONE single grocery bag with ONE ITEM! store does not even close for another hour! they've not even come out to tell us that we're wasting time here. They desperately need workers or better ones I don't know but it's not good to just leave people waiting for groceries. People pay for these groceries and assume they're gonna be delivered.... Like they could've been polite instead now we have tons of customers angry outside waiting for their food for the week. Like not cool at all Walmart.

I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised with the SUPERIOR customer service I was given today. I work with an agency and today I took several participants shopping. Over and over again, the employees I interacted with were the greatest. My only issue is that I don't remember all the names of the AWESOME crew. Anyone that was at work from 10AM - 2PM. Pat yourself on the back and keep it up. Special thanks to Debbie and Marcela, the 2 cashiers who were extremely friendly, professional, patient and knowledgeable. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Staff is 5 star. Walmart as a company is what ruined this for me. See the picture attached. This is what we have come to. Big bag only 1/3 full for $4. Disgusting waste this is how much used to be in the smallest bag of pretzels. I guess also shame on the pretzel company too for doing this for Walmart.

Just went in to buy some boxers. I kid you not, they are under lock and key and when someone gets them for you, they escort the boxers to a check out like it's under guard. Then you have to stand in a ridiculously long line and wait when there are self check outs completely free and open and ready to use.. this is beyond stupid. Same goes for socks.

Lazy, unhelpful staff. They can't seem to be bothered to actually do their jobs in any situation. I'm not sure if they just don't know how to or if their managers don't care about keeping them doing their jobs.

This store was one of the initial ones in the Pdx Metro area to use corrals. Treating all customers like crooks. Never feel positive vibes coming here anymore.

Great prices. Not enough workers. What else is new? Huge store full of everything. A cheap version of Fred Meyers, IMHO.

I've submitted a comment before about this store. OMG! A year later and it is still dirty! Very empty shelves! Boxes full of merchandise sitting all over the store waiting to be unpacked! In the aisles blocking pathways. Empty boxes stacked overflowing in carts or on the floors! Employees standing around with arms crossed and chatting with each other. Store filthy. And as usual, one register open. Thus store is a total embarrassment to WALMART.

Awful. This is my first time posting in Yelp, however I felt like I just had to to describe how terrible the experience is here.

They have 18 registers yet there's always only 2 open and the self check out lines are sooooo long. They've had the cosmetics department closed off for almost a year. I lived in Cali and used to come up here to visit and I came to this Walmart multiple times and they still have the cosmetics department closed. Almost been a year lol. Go to target.

Absolute worst tire installation service I have ever experienced. Four hours wasted. Tire dude was an ass. No way in hell will I go there again. Should have gone to Discount Tire (or anywhere else for that matter).

No complaints. I usually always find what I need. If I go to the extra trouble I can even find something of good quality in the Home furnishings department. Nice going with the outdoor security department. Makes me feel safe that they are always around- checking out the parking lot. Now if we could get gas points/rewards that would be even better.
