"Always low prices..." Stop I'm choking on all the gas from that gaslight! + With each week that passes this grocery distributor becomes more and more like a scene out of Blade Runner, a security heavy, oppressively automated dystopian hellscape. The pastry selection however cannot be beat.

This store forces you to work for them by offering one or two cashiers during peak hours. They charge for paper bags and management is very smug about the whole process. On a day where they are not busy it can still take up to 10 minutes to pay for your items unless you use self checkout (at least offer an employee discount if we are going to do your job)

Gross meat from Fred Meyers. Do not buy from their deli. Customer service online does nothing.

When picking up groceries from Fred Meyer, we used to get a receipt of the items showing prices and quantity purchased. When did that stop? Also, when items are on sale, you have to buy the number specified in order to get the sale price. If the items are unavailable, why should the customer pay the regular price of the item. If there is no comparable item to what I'm purchasing. why should I pick a substitute? Why should I allow an employee of the store to pick my subs? To be clear, I did not purchase from this Fred Meyer location. I purchased at another store that does not allow Yelp reviews. I ordered an item where a quantity of four was required to get the sale price. Two of the four items were not available. Therefore, the store increased my price to full price in the two available items. Is that fair? NO. It seems like shopping at Fred Meyer is costing more and more these days. So my question: Why do I shop there? They put their items on sale, but seemingly, some of these items are never in stock. So is it a gimmick to get you in the store so you purchase higher priced items? Or do they just not have the items to begin with? I called the store and spoke with someone in customer service and was simply told. He couldn't offer me a refund for the items I did not receive because I wasn't charged, nor could he offer me a refund for the two items in question because I needed to buy four. That's fair in theory. But offer a solution, not a problem. however, he kept trying to transfer. It was very clear he did not want to help me because he kept trying to transfer to grocery pick-up. What do they have the authority to do? Nothing. His. Suggestion? Then, after being quite rude, he wanted to transfer me to management. What are they going to do? They tell him what to say. So, my solution from here on is do not chop at Fred Meyer any longer.

PUT A STOP TO DRUG USE IN THE BATHROOMS!I'd put one star but want this to be seen. Our children or ANYONE can't go to the restroom without being exposed to scums smoking drugs. Done with Fred's. All of them.

They got a lot of food here. They have way more too, like a mall. I like the selection.

I've been coming to this location for a number of years and I always receive great customer service. The store is always clean and there are always employees stocking shelves so typically whatever you're looking for will be in stock with the exception of supply chain issues. I use the grocery pickup service every week and that team does a fantastic job. They are always friendly and get the pickup done quick. I do wish that they would give you a paper receipt with your order instead of just a digital one.

Back in the day I worked for Fred Meyer. It felt peculiar when it was bought out by Kroger but lived with it and moved on. I think probably the best part of shopping at Fred Meyer is that the solid level of customer service and support has remained. This past Sunday evening I went shopping to pick up a few items. Whenever I go to Fred Meyer I always shop the produce department. Fred Meyer has some of the best produce around. It's well displayed and always fresh. It's a high standard that has also remained. I quickly went through the store because just about as soon as I arrived I heard on the loud speaker that the store would be closing in 30 minutes. It was 9:30pm. I thought they closed at 11:00pm but no worries, I was over half way through my shopping list. When I was ready to go through the checkout line I didn't want to go through self checkout because I had coupons. Fred Meyer has excellent coupons. You receive coupons by mail for the items that you have purchased in the past. So the savings is not for some obscure items that you may or may not like. It's for good items that you enjoy. This is yet another plus for shopping at Fred Meyer. I noticed that the checkout line was long. Three or four deep with carts piled high. The checker, Alma, was by herself. She didn't have anyone bagging. She quickly scanned the items and then moved quickly to get it bagged up for each customer and then loaded back up on the cart. When it came my turn Alma quickly bagged up my items and loaded it on my cart. I helped by bagging up some of the groceries. When we were finished Alma asked me if I needed help out to the car? I have arthritis and don't get around as well as I would like. Since I had parked close I knew that I really wasn't going to have any trouble getting my cart out to my car. I told Alma that I would be okay and walked out of the store. As I was walking out I thought, wow!, no one asks anymore if you need help out to the car! This used to be a common practice, they used to wheel out your groceries and load them in the car. Even though I didn't need the assistance, I am thankful that Alma asked because had I needed help it's nice to know that it's available. The number of available items, the quality and the customer service and support are the main reasons I will return to do my grocery shopping at Wood Village Fred Meyer.

So many of the employees in the back aisles stocking don't wear masks (or wear them only over their mouths, same difference). I'll probably suck it up and pay the upper middle class Whole Foods/New Seasons tax for a much less stressful shopping experience.

Been shopping here for years. It reminds me of a big home improvement store: everything is scattered haphazardly in various isles, some are properly together, there's hardly anyone around to help. The prices are not that great but I go here only if the other places don't have what I need.

This location gets a 4 star rating from me for the store and items provided. However those stars are all stripped for the lack of Covid protection by its employees. I just left the store this afternoon, November 17th. After a heated verbal altercation with a mask less shopper. Three separate employees that I reported him to did nothing. One laughed about it and preceded to tell me a story of an even more inconsiderate customer that was not masked up. They even had an employee stationed at the door to monitor mask usage. He also did nothing. I will shop at another store if this Fred Meyer location cannot provide a safe as possible location for its customers. They can list the policies they have in place but if not followed they are worthless. Shame on you for looking the other way during this record breaking spike of Covid.

They do not control the amount of people in the store or keeping people 6’ from each other. It’s very crowded and people are not following social distancing. As I waited for people to move out of an aisle a guy cut in front of me and then realized and said “ladies first” I said I would wait for it to clear and he said “ honey, I think you will live”. People don’t care. The management needs to monitor and employees need to make sure the rules are being followed. I’m a retail manager and I know what is required bc I do it in my store! Get w it Fred Meyer! Help save lives.

Been coming to Wood Village Fred's since it opened back in the early '00s. It's very nice, clean, and has a pretty simple layout. I think the only inconvenience is the clothes and shoes are upstairs, so if you have a cart, you have to wait for the elevator- they also make you check out with the cashiers upstairs if you have apparel. Pretty smart, cause the escalators kind of lead to the exit so it can be an easy steal. It's a pretty big Fred Meyer and has a lot of everything that other Fred's has, (but not compared to the big Gresham Fred Meyers). Wood Village Fred's has a Chase bank and Starbucks inside, and a Fred Meyer jeweler. They also have a gas station on site, and located next to a Lowe's and Kohl's and a few dining restaurants. It's definitely a one-stop shop store as I can pretty much get everything I need, and for great prices. I've even ordered balloons from the floral dept and always had great success. They have made a self checkout on both entrances which is awesome. Customer service can be busy, but they are quick and helpful!
