Literate Collector is a lovely unassuming store with many books to choose from. The owner is very nice, helpful and lovely, greeted us with a smile. The shop has an endless supply of used books in great condition, books upon books, and a warm welcoming environment. The smell of books greets you upon stepping inside and the prices are incredibly low and affordable. A plumpest little cat follows you around and meows, cute. The owner knows exactly where specific books are located and had them ready when called in advance. This wonderful book store is a definite stop for any book lover that appreciates the vanishing art of literature.
As an avid reader and book lover, this store is my heaven. Yes, it can be overwhelming to some, but to me it’s like a treasure hunt. I’ve never left empty handed, there is something for every kind of reader here. The pricing is very reasonable as well, better than any other used/thrift store.
