Best quality hotel on the water in Yachats. The balconies overlook the water. Very comfortable and clean and the staff are fabulous.

Called today to get a room for my birthday and the front desk was extremely disrespectful because I asked if they could come down on price. I was still talking when the person hung up on me. If you want rude and disrespect book your room.

We love staying at the Fireside Motel as it is a midway point of a route we take often. The motel is very pet friendly, leaving extra dog towels and supplies for our two furry friends, a beautiful beach trail and they have a EV charger for our electric vehicle.

I stayed here for a night to enjoy the season, do a lil clamming. This was one of the nicest, cleanest, coziest motels I've EVER stayed in. The moment I walked in the atmosphere was inviting. This being December the tree they had decorated in a corner was so festive. The entire motel had decor that was brilliantly placed, the fireplace in the Lobby (and in my room) were soothing. I spoke with the Manager Patrick and he graciously enlightened me about the meaning behind some of the wall decorations. To the left fiery colors of red, orange, yellow adorn the walls giving it that "fireside" vibe. To the right, beautiful teals, blues, and sandy browns swept the walls, bringing that Long Beach vibe. The rooms were immaculate. The fire pits were a great lil visit spot, complete with s'mores if you choose to indulge. Memory foam mattress, with soft plush blankets. Like home away from home.. best place to lay your head while In Long Beach Wa.

This place is amazing!. The rooms are updated, super clean, coffee pot, fridge, good working TV, no more bottles of shampoo, conditioner and Lotion no more bars of soap, wall installed dispensers! The views are spectacular. We were there during king rides with a full moon!. The weather was beautifulThe office staff was super courteous and accommodating. No pool or hot tub , no fireplace..if you're looking for that. But it's not needed! We'll stay again. There's also a sister property next door that's a bit more elegant if you want that

I loved my 2 different rooms on 2 different nights. So peaceful/restful. I came in so late the 1st night and the front office was closed and feared I'd have to sleep in my car. I then checked my phone after a long grueling drive. To my delight they had a secured night pick up box to get my key to get in my room to bed. Then to settle my fee in the morning. Such a peasant peaceful stay near the beach. However, not such great viewing of the 10/14 Annular Eclipse (clouded out) but the location was worth it! Also pet friendly. A local friend/guest in a wheel chair could not access my ground floor room for lack of access ramps for raised entrances and door thresholds. It would be a simple fix for the Fireside to get a few portable steel ramps for the raised entrances and door thresholds where one must step up/down to enter the rooms that could be available on request. Also would not require much (if any) remodeling for disabled access. That would be great if Fireside could provide those, then I would most surely come visit again. Rooms were impeccably clean. Highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant two night stay at the Fireside Motel. The staff was very pleasant and provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed the free DVD movies available for guests to borrow. The room was very comfortable and fairly priced. My room was not ocean facing but I still had an excellent view out my front door and window. I look forward to returning and will recommend this location to others looking for a nice room on the coast!

I proposed to my girlfriend here, and I'm so glad I chose this spot. The rushing ocean outside was so gorgeous, the soaking tub was luxurious, and everything was beautifully kempt. The staff was also very welcoming and lgbt-friendly. I also got one of their special packages - rose petals, champagne, chocolates, and whatnot. It was artfully placed in the room - couldnt be happier!Rooms: I stayed in the storm petrel room. Everything was beautiful and the soaking tub made it feel extra luxurious! Also had a lovely patio leading right to the oceanfront.

Nice, no frills stay. Great beds. Excellence access to walking path all along the beach. Best low tide experience finding starfish!! Loved the little town and very friendly people. Great seafood at Luna Sea and breakfast crepes and french toast at the Driftwood.

We had the best time! Stayed here for two nights with our two teenagers. It was perfect- clean, spacious and comfortable. Loved the bathroom set up- had a sink/mirror inside the bathroom/shower and a separate sink/mirror just outside of it. Great set up for four people! The location is wonderful- right on the ocean. You can’t walk into town easily, but it doesn’t matter. Special shout out to Heather, the GM who was super helpful and friendly. Yachats is a special place with a special vibe.

Stayed in a non-view room. Check in was simple, room was clean with no visible signs of wear. Room included microwave and fridge, tea and coffee area. Location was nice. Overall a fine stay for a night if you find yourself in the area.

You can't beat the location and view at this beautiful motel! ? get the ocean view room with a balcony. It's worth it!Now, things worth noting, these rooms don't have AC which isn't a big deal if the big window opened up but it doesn't open for some reason. So unless you feel comfortable sleeping with your balcony door open (which I didn't because the balconies next to us can easily come onto our balcony so it's not private) then your room will get stuffy. There was a box fan in our room that helped! Also for after a day of exploring, there is DVD player which is fun and you can check out DVDs (they didn't have The Goonies, come on!) However the volume on our TV was locked to 25 so we couldn't hear it well over the ocean waves.Room had a fridge, and microwave and a fun fireplace. Beds were VERY comfortable and shower was awesome. Super clean place. And we had fun playing horseshoes on the property and exploring the private tide pools! It's was $325 but worth the splurge. :) **If you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up ?
