The sweetest barista (ginger blonde hair with impeccable eye makeup) made my Sea Turtle mocha. It was delicious and just her demeanor was very much appreciated this early in the morning. You can't enter the establishment, so you can either drive or walk up to the window. Don't be like me and circle the house trying to find a door to go inside. Both doors are for STAFF only.

The best coffee I’ve had on the coast. Delicious every time. Hands down the best dirty chai I’ve ever had and lots of fresh pastries. They also have the sweetest staff, definitely worth a stop!

Good, albeit expensive coffee. But…….Owner creates a very toxic work environment. People really should know about the business they’re supporting.A complaint has been filed with the Oregon Department of Labor against Barbara Sheppherd and Village Bean against her unlawful use of surveillance cameras. Cameras ARE legal, BUT listening to and/or recording conversations without your employees knowledge and consent is NOT LEGAL.(Humm, lawsuit?)If you work there, anything you say CAN and WILL be used against you.And while she can dish out nasty insults, she definitely cannot handle them thrown at her. Her responses to negative reviews are rude & unprofessional. And as per her many reviews, she’s always complaining about being UNDERSTAFFED. That is NO surprise, as she cannot manage keep her employees more than just months. Some bosses just don’t ever learn from their mistakes.OH, btw, only the scones are fresh. The rest is previously frozen, week old muffins/danish/etc from COSTCO.Avoid the Village Bean, hit up Green Salmon instead. Best of luck to BARB!

This place definitely deserves your attention❣️I can't say enough about The Village Bean... Every treat they sell (scones, muffins, and on and on), and every cup of coffee I've tried is worth every penny. When you go, try their Mexican Mocha and tell them, "Ron sent me!" No, you won't receive any discounts, and I don't receive kickbacks - more than likely they'll be wondering, "who's this Ron fellow everyone's talking about," - but I think it would be fun to see how many customers have mentioned my name the next time I drive through. ?Seriously, I travel just short of 74 miles (round trip) to get my coffee from them when I'm staying in Depoe Bay, so I must believe their coffee is worth the trip. And I haven't even mentioned their fabulous staff❣️So give 'em a try, and see if they aren't YOUR new favorite coffee shop, and you won't want to forget a bag of chocolate covered coffee beans on your way out. ? ✌️ ?

Hit and miss place. Service and people are friendly. Our latte was well made. The spiced chai was too, too sweet and to charge $1 for iced does not make any sense to me. The chai latte came to $7 + tax which was too much.

Best chai latte.. doesn't taste much like tea, but whatever is in it tastes awesome...I've also really been enjoying the muffins..lately the almond poppyseed is a favorite.Worth the wait, even when the line of cars reaches 101.

I come here for my spiced chai latte and whatever fresh scones they make… if you go in the morning they’re baked fresh and they are warm and they’re absolutely delicious. The ladies are always so sweet and pleasant. They give you an espresso bean on top of your drink and if you’re patient it melts and it is so good. I’ve tried the apricot scone, chocolate muffin, and banana coffee cake, and they’ve all been great. My chai is the best here.

Super yummy lavender oatmilk latte and Americano. I like that they didn't change extra for alternative milk like so many places do. The espresso bean on my drink was a super cute extra touch. The baristas are friendly without being overbearing early in the morning.

I don’t recommend doing anything with this place, but driving past it. Employees are delightful, but the owner is a terror! She is well known within the Yachats restaurant community to harass her employees. Watching us on 4 separate cameras within the tiny space to call us & tell us we’re wrong. Drinks are overpriced, she up charges for everything. The only things that are made from scratch in house are their scones! If your muffin tastes like it came from a Costco 4-pack - it’s because it did! Just do yourself a favor and go to Green Salmon. It tastes better, they don’t over charge, alt milks are free & everyone actually enjoys their job.
