Friendly Staff, Nice amenities, Fair price rooms. Stayed here on a last minute vacation with a few friends. we showed up late in the evening on thanksgiving weekend. The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with the reservation process and gave us a very good price. Clean rooms, beautiful view, nice landscaping, and pool facility (my favorite). Great location in yachats. Overall a good stay. Will be back again!

4 people, not couples. 1 bed, 1 hide-a-bed. 3 pillows and blankets for two. No soap in the shower. Not what we were told to expect.

My partner and I have come here multiple times and we always have an amazing experience. Friendly and hospitable customer service. Very close walk to the beach and convenient appliances. Would recommend to give some extra comfort and fun to your vacation or travels!

I've been staying at the Yachat's Inn for the past 15+ years. It is the only place I book when I visit Yachts (5-6 times a year). The staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean, and have everything I need. Overall, the place is perfect for the price. When I go with friends, I book one of the suites. When I go sole, I book a queen-bed room on the South side ( I recommend #15, for the ocean view). The Inn is very dog-friendly and accommodating. There is a large commons area with a kitchen, couches, and cozy sitting/reading areas. I highly recommend.

Pros are the ocean views and walkway along the ocean.Cons are seaside room are musty, very outdated , wifi didn’t work well. For the price you’re only paying for the proximity to the ocean.

Absolutely loved, loved , loved this place. Oozes old school motel vibes with a view off the patio that couldn’t be any better.

Had family get together that ranged from infant to elderly and they accommodated for us all. Kids enjoyed the pool and a short walk down you are at the beach. Great place to stay for anyone looking to get away from life for a moment in a quite town on the ocean. I would recommend the newer apartment style rooms rather than the out dated single rooms for just a few dollars more. Definitely will be back next year!Rooms: Newer apartment style room were perfect for a small family. The single rooms are a little outdated but still a great value for the location.Nearby activities: Small town shops near by, clamming and fishing if you follow tides and many sight seeing rest areas.

My family has our family reunion here every two years and it’s always a great place! Great rooms, staff, and the views are absolutely beautiful! Also I asked the office if I could buy a figurine they were displaying in their window and they not only just gave it to me, they wouldn’t take any money from me for it. Will definitely be staying here again and probably coming all the way from Colorado just to stay in this hotel!

We booked last minute and found the inn to be mellow about extra dogs and guests which was cool. They have a great area for dogs to play fetch on a large grassy area. The unit however was a wreck.Things all torn and stained and jankey or not working. Coffee pot didn't fit coffee maker, gas fire place only worked if you could open the bottom panel as the actual wall switch doesn't work. Bed was comfy however which was so nice.We rented a suite and it was fair. Bathtub to small for anyone adult size to really use for a bath.We needed extra chairs, coffee maker, pot, blankets, help to figure out the gas fire place, batteries for the fire alarm...ok then there's the pool!Well, the pool I suppose is fine enough but the hot tub was not ok. There was entirely too many chemicals in it and it was disgusting! I felt my lungs were burning from the chlorine! Plus the tub was all old and yellow and it just wasn't ok.I couldn't even sit in it and this ruined my trip for the most part because I have a bad back and was excited to sit in the hot tub but was totally unable to.When I was watching the kids play in the pool I noticed everyone who came to the hot tub got out quick and said the same thing, how gross it was and smelled awful. For the price this place want worth it.

Selected this inn based on various reviews.Pros:The location is terrificThe room was clean- it was dimly lit and I dont like spiders so I did walk around with my phone light on looking in all the dark corners and didnt find one web.The mini fridge worked.Cons:The room is pretty bad. The bedside light was out, for our two night stay, I had to go ask for another roll of TP (nothing extra left in the room, the current one was almost gone). All the walls were made of different material, the sliding door was rickety, there is no screen, there is the most basic plastic chairs out there (just two, no little table, no Adirondack plastic ones unless you are the most expensive room), and the bathroom had no shelving, no hooks, the tile was peeling up really badly and you had to hold the toilet handle down to get it to flush. It's an old shower head that is too low down and my partner who is above 6' said he had to duck down to wet his head. The hot tub was definitely not hot enough to kill bacteria. It felt more like we were 'going to make it through' than having a 'romatic getaway' that we had planned. It honestly actually felt intentional how little effort that had been put into not upgrading the room. Even the smallest touches would have improved it. They seem to be depending entirely on the location for business. Regardless of the lovely location, we will not be returning.

Absolutely beautiful property! The room was beautiful as well. Wish we would've been able to stay more than one night. Family run and you can tell. So friendly and welcoming. Would be a great "base" for exploring all of the Oregon coast. We can't wait to come back and do just that!

Family members were camping along the Oregon coast and we decide to join them for a few days in Yachats. We chose the Yachats Inn for its proximity to them. The Inn is OLD and in need of a desperate upgrade BUT considering we were only sleeping in the room it was fine. The bed was very comfortable. If you want to sit on the patio and enjoy the views of the ocean either bring your own chair or know you will have to “borrow” the few chairs there are from other guests patios The rooms have no dressers so you literally have to live out of your suitcase. Receptacles are few and the one in the bathroom is literally in the shower ?. Air circulation in the rooms is not a thing and screens are missing off of most windows and doors so you can’t leave them open. All this said the Inn’s staff were pleasant and it was a fine stay.

I have been staying at Yachats in for many years. We stayed in room number 8 and it had the best view of the ocean and a kitchen so we were able to cook up breakfast before a day of adventures. The hotel is older but that’s why I like it. The pool and hot tub are nice and kept clean! The staff is really what makes this place (They are so friendly). I highly recommend if you want a family-friendly hotel and it's a true gem in yachats.

I just wanted to thank the folks at Yachats Inn for being so hospitable when checking in. We are farmers, and are currently awaiting a sizeable check from one of our vendors. Finances for the past week have been "tricky" as we await the payment. Checking in last Thursday, our credit card was declined. In most situations, this usually becomes a demonizing moment, and you are suddenly viewed as something short of a petty criminal. Not only did staff allow us to check in, but didn't make it a big deal. I appreciated the kindness in giving us some grace until my wife showed up with an alternate card. Just as we have for years, we will continue to use the Yachats Inn as our central coast home away from home.
