“I'm actually not much of a board game player or TTRPGer myself but I still love this place. I pick up a new game and/or shiny trinket every now and then but even when I'm not in the market for anything, there's always enough interesting stuff to keep me busy window-shopping while my friends do the real shopping. The atmosphere over at 7th Dimension is great. The people there are friendly and despite my social anxiety's best efforts, I don't get that "You don't belong here. Why are you here?" feeling that I tend to get in most gaming stores.”
“This is a pretty good place and I expect more people to come within the next couple years. Definitely more card-game oriented than anything else, but there's a basement for us dwellers to call home away from home! Come in out of curiosity, stay for the for the amity, and leave with the knowledge of a newfound spot for your nerdy needs!”
“Very nice store.. not large store. Very knowledgeable about products. Had decent pricing wasn't trying to hurt my wallet. Actually showed me different options that cost less. Explained the pros and cons of them. If he doesn't have the item you need he will order for you. Will definitely be back. Support small businesses”
“My favorite arts and crafts store! This location is clean and organized. The staff is awesome and helpful. Their seasonal selection is always amazing and they always have great sales. I had a poster framed for my husband for Father's Day and the framing department did a wonderful job. He absolutely loved it. My nephew loves drawing and anything art related. His birthday just passed and I got him a ton of stuff from here to get him started with painting. He loved it and I'm so glad. I will definitely bring him in to pick out art supplies when he needs it.”
“To be honest I only go to Michael's if I have to I usually go to Hobby Lobby which really has their act together as far as their merchandise being in order and neat on the shelves Michaels is nowhere near that.
Also Hobby Lobby has a bigger selection of model building equipment and models”
“I love Michael's because of the great deals and products they carry. However I like this location because of the people that work here and the convenience of the area. The workers in here are friendly and quite knowledgeable about where things are located in the store and on certain topics too. That's a big thing for me! If you do crafting or like to make things once in a while this is one of the best places to go outside of a hobby shop!”
“I had issues at another Michaels where my mat was inaccurately measured so it didn’t end up fitting my frame. I stopped in to the blvd location not sure if they’d be able to help or if I’d have to go to the original location, but Ross was super helpful and figured out the accurate measurements and got me a new mat super quickly with no questions! I so appreciate this Michaels always having great people working in custom framing!”
