I went to the Montgomery county SPCA to turn in a cat , which I found in my neighborhood lost ,scared, hungry and injured. I had been feeding her for about 2 months and the other cats would bully her and I felt so bad for her. I decided to capture her to take to the SPCA for help. It took two weeks to get her in a cage... I waited 2 hours, and finally she went into eat the food I left in there and I was able to nudge her but all the way in and shut

I love this place, staff are very kind. There were other places I have tried that haven't been so nice. My friend and I picked her cat from here 2 years ago and she's in love, so I came back. I cannot speak on the staff enough and how nice they are!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a pet companion ?

Staff at desk could be a little nicer and encourage to adopt the animals. I asked about guinea pigs and got "they don't like anyone" and that was it.

If you looking for a fur ball that got plenty there and looking for good home's dogs or cats we got about a dozen cats and dogs looking for a loving homes at this non kill shelter so if you're looking for an elderly cat or dog they have them to if you got a big heart and time to take care of them at their final years something I hope someone who can does because it's a very small HOME alone permanently until they pass if you know what I mean❣️??

Wanted to adopt a dog but need to be sure our dog gets along with new dog. They DO NOT allow u to meet and greet. How csn u adopt a new dog without knowing it gets along with your current dog. BAD POLICY.

I adopted a domestic shorthair cat here a few months ago. She’s doing great so far, I also got a rag doll friend for her and they’ve been getting along well. The reason I’m taking off one star is because previously we also applied for a husky and another cat. However, we did not get a response about whether the application was approved or not. The only reason I was able to adopt my cat is because they said she didn’t need to be applied for.

Feels very good dropping off donations here. Tough to leave without a furry friend. The dogs seem to be happy but could use a forever home for sure.

It was maintained well. The dog cages were clean. I believe the dogs were there for four months on average.
