This is by far the nicest of the 3 Santanders that I normally visit. If I am anywhere near Abington I choose this branch. Today I drove 7miles out of my way to specifically visit the people in this branch.

I have been banking here for years, seen many employees come and go. Most are very nice. Andrew is an asset very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He guided me with choices during one of the most difficult time in my life - and explained everything and I appreciate it and made the correct financial decision in the end.

Teller refused to deposit my $50 birthday check from my parents because it was 6 months old; the reasoning being “we can’t be assured the account is still good for that money 6 months later”; yet they accepted a $1250 check also from my parents from the same account that was only written 5 months prior? Doesn’t make much sense; and I know the policy is up to the teller’s discretion—glad the teller decided to be a difficult j**** Deposited it via the app no problem 2 minutes later. I’m sorry you had a bad day and tried to make someone else’s life difficult because of it.

This location provided me with a counterfeit $100 bill upon withdrawing a fair amount of cash directly from a teller (not an ATM). When I returned to the bank address the situation once discovering it, the manager more or less accused me of swapping the counterfeit bill myself because their tellers "couldn't possibly give a counterfeit bill because there are processes in place to prevent that". After voicing my displeasure, the manager then said that she would "look into it more" for me and give me a call, but it has been over a month and I never heard from her. Unlikely that it was ever looked into at all, and meanwhile I'm out $100. The situation should have been handled in good faith with them replacing the $100 for me, which they can clearly afford, but it seems that I was dismissed with no intention of resolution on the bank's part.

I went in there to fix a mistake I made when I created a new checking and savings account but lost my folder when I was coming from the downtown location. At first they were very helpful, but as the process of recreating my account ensued the tellers seemed highly unhappy with me. I had a lot of trouble understanding the woman who appeared to speak english as a second language at one particular part of the process and she seemed very visibly irritated when I kept trying make sure I understood the process. She was breathing heavily and slamming her mouse when it wasn't working. Extremely unprofessional. I had to go through the two other employees at the bank to complete my task. It's a nightmare to think I'd have to deal with them anytime I needed to do some banking.

Super helpful employees, always going above and beyond to answer my questions. Never find me off-putting, especially when my mind is racing and have a million questions. The only Santander bank I pretty much visit, mostly because of the wonderful neighborhood. I don't have to worry or fear when I'm around here. I can use the ATM with ease. It's also amazing because it's close to school. I have no complaints. Santander is the Simple Right choice for me.
