The Amethyst Inn Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful and best bed and breakfast, described as amazing and absolutely the best. The hostess is extremely friendly, lovely, gracious, accommodating, and amazing, making guests feel right at home and special. Her breakfasts are amazing, out of this world delicious, wonderful, and generous each morning. The rooms are beautifully quaint, very clean, and have updated amenities like a Jacuzzi, incredible tubs, and steam showers. The beds are extremely comfortable, super comfy, and king-sized. Towels are lux. The whole inn is very clean. It is situated in a quiet town off the main roads, set on a hill. There is a nice backyard area and a wrap-around porch. Guests should be aware of the steep hill to park or stairs from the street, though first-floor rooms are available. The quiet area has a very nice park nearby with paths for walks. The town is situated near Lancaster and other towns, with plenty of things to do. It is a great vacation place and the perfect place to get away. Many guests state they will definitely be back, return for sure, and recommend it to family and friends.
My husband and I felt thoroughly pampered over our weekend stay. Kimberly and her staff are lovely, and our dietary restrictions were met with gracious cheerfulness.

The Amethyst Inn is a special place! The historic house feels cozy and welcoming, while still having modern comforts like the comfy bed and jacuzzi tub. The breakfasts every morning are great (especially the quiche and caprese eggs), and big enough that I rarely needed a mid-day meal. Kimberly was fantastic!
