The staff were friendly and kind. They got my dog in the same day and treated him well.

3 stars because the doctors here are wonderful and truly care for the animals. However, front desk staff is not friendly and sometimes downright rude. Not sure if they're overworked or short staffed or what but it isn't a good look for the business for their front desk to have an attitude with customers for no reason.

Dr. Dan is a good vet. Has taken adequate care of our pets throughout the past several years. He appears to listen to our concerns and addresses them with accuracy. However it should be noted it has not been all pleasant the experiences with some of the other staff, mostly concerning communication and transparency. We continue to partronize their business and would probably recommend to others.

Had been taking my cats here but changed vets as I moved recently. This clinic does not seem to have the best interest of the pets in mind. Or maybe they are just overworked (always seems busy there). One of my cats has early stage kidney disease and had been on medication for high blood pressure. While in care of this clinic I had mentioned concerns for his lack of appetite. Asked if change in medication or diet could help. They dismissed me and blamed it as an issue with his kidney disease. And said we shouldn’t change any thing. Didn’t give me any other options for treatment.During the move I wasn’t able to refill his prescription and noticed he got his appetite back. His new vet informed me lack of appetite and lethargy were symptoms of the medicine was taking. They offered we could try a more mild blood pressure medication and see how he does with that. Not being upfront with side effects medications may cause, dismissing concerns, and not giving other options to find the best treatment FOR THE PET. Is malpractice at best. This clinic is also more expensive. I don’t mind paying more for quality care. But to be dismissed and feel like they only care about how they can get more money from me? Not worth the cost.Don’t take your pet here. And if you do and you feel like you aren’t being listened too please get a second opinion. ?

They almost killed my dog with oversedation! I had to make an immediate run to the ER. No one called for 3 days! Zero empathy. Filing board complaint and small claims for malpractice. I am happy to provide all interested with details. Go somewhere else, please. Todd

Brought my dog here as he was losing his fur and acting weird. They did skin samples and ran bloodwork. Somehow completely missed the cancer and he passed 2 weeks later. And maybe if they did their job properly and were a little more competent, we could have tried some kind of treatment before his organs started shutting down. At the very least, we would have known it was his last days and could have made them special for him. Ive unsubscribed from their emails repeatedly but they continue to send me reminders that he is due for shots. I’ve tried reaching out and asking them to stop but they haven’t. Now I get a happy birthday email for Zeus reminding me again of my loss. They are only here to make a quick buck. It was never about the pets health or the owners bond with the animal and I won’t forgive myself for choosing to bring my dog to a place like this.

I once gave this place 5 stars because l liked how the male doctor called me just when l was starting to wonder how the puppy was doing, and they all seemed to be friendly. Until l had a problem with a merchant where l purchased the puppy. These doctors will lie and omit information and treat indifferent! Very disheartening!!! So be careful if when you purchase a puppy and you’re ONLY allowed to bring to this clinic! that’s a signed l missed!

On my return to the hospital for a yearly checkup for my tortoise, Dr. Dan was just as thorough as he was the first time. The techs and assistants were attentive and very helpful as well. The receptionist and any interns were just as pleasant and from giving directions on getting to the hospital when stuck in traffic, to how the physical place was and still is, clean and bright. For my experience the entire visit was once again pleasant and I feel as though all were genuinely concerned about my tortoise. The entire place is hustling and bustling and I never felt "lost in the crowd".

We had our first emergency with one of our babies Roxy. I came home and she greeted me just fine with the other dogs. After an hour, I noticed she was “frozen in place”. She could not move! And when she tried she stumbled. I freaked out and called my wife and daughter to rush to the vet. Our normal vet was closed. We put her in the back seat of my truck and started calling EVERY WHERE. Every place was overwhelmed. My wife thought quick and remembered Allentown animal clinic. We called and they said they could see Roxy. We were very pleased in the way they treated us and especially our Roxy. Everyone was very nice and caring from the techs to the receptionist to the doctor. They quickly assessed her and did some tests. We are definitely going to make a change with our veterinarian and we highly recommend this place.

I made my first appointment for my bearded dragon Chuck, who unfortunately has a mild case of mouth rot. I knew from the second I called them and spoke with Marcie that the atmosphere was going to be very friendly, fun and caring towards Chuck and I. They got me in for my appointment in less than a week. When I got there, they got me in very fast and everyone that saw Chuck were so sweet and gave her so much attention! Dr. Sawikij was amazing. She handled Chuck with so much love and care. I sadly can’t remember the name of the vet tech that also helped us, but she was incredible, too, and made sure to show me how to administer Chuck’s meds and injections with confidence. They accepted care credit and that also was a life savor. What a wonderful place, full of such kind and genuinely caring people. I have had poor experiences at other places and I wish more animal hospitals were like this! Thank you guys so much! ❤️

Heroes. My cockatiel David was not himself so I wanted to take him to the vet. Countless phone calls ended up in failure because most vets don’t take birds or any exotic animals. I found AAC on a Google search and I gave them a call. Was able to get in next day. Dr. Sawickij and her staff were very accommodating and and very supportive. They also gave some helpful tips and an avian care packet with more information. David did receive medicine and was very good with the staff. He was sent home with medicine that he is taking to very well. Thank you AAC! David thanks you as well.
