If I could give a zero I would. Went in to buy a battery and was told by the guy at the counter it would be a few because he was the only one working at the time. No problem, I said, I can wait. I walked back outside to check my car, came back in and suddenly there were 3 employees there. A different employee, Jose, asked if he could help me. He went and got my battery, set it on the counter, and asked to see my connection under the hood. Upon inspecting my battery he claimed it took a special tool to get it off, not the usual socket. Which was not true. He just didn’t want to do it outside in the cold. Lazy daytime staff and lousy customer service today.

Worst AutoZone, they hired a violent druggy named Ben Quinn who's been fired for fighting and drug use from every job he had in the last 10 years, he doesn't know anything about auto parts either and it just shows the low standards that AutoZone sets when it comes to hiring an individual like this. I'd rather do my business at Napa or national any day.

Stood in line for 15 minutes to buy a drain pan, coolant funnel, and cleaner. Had to drop the items to come back another day. Maybe they'll be a little faster.

This location is a joke. I got an associate who did not know what slide pins were for a brake caliper. I've never encountered anybody in this location who knows anything about vehicles and have been repeatedly given the wrong parts

I visited this Allentown location to buy a new battery, only to be told that the new battery I purchased will not be replaced because it would take too much work to remove the battery shield. So then I offered to remove the battery shield and asked if they can then replace the battery. The assistant manager then told me if I'm going to do that much work I might as well complete the task myself. He was rude and very impolite. I requested to speak to the actual manager because clearly he was not the head manager. The head manager then offered to replace my battery but informed me that a computer reset may damage my car. I thanked him for this information and decided to just purchase the battery and take my car to the dealership to make sure the replacement was done properly. This location is in need of customer service training and focus on hiring workers who know what they are talking about, as opposed to one employee knowing more than the other. Everyone should be on the same page with company protocols and procedures.
