A one-of-a-kind relaxed comic-book shop sure to conjure a multitude of emotions from laughter to excitement (there are to many to list)! Once a year THEY GO ALL OUT FOR *FREE COMIC-BOOK DAY* they also have in-house artists & comfortable chairs to review material! In a way it is like Allentown, PA's unofficial museum of pop-culture!

Owner Ty spoke with me over the phone first before I stopped in to visit. He does a great job explaining the joy of comics when helping a newbie shopper! It was an especially nice surprise to see a cafe style setup too!! Thanks Beachead for the “good vibes”

Yep yep yep this is the place to visit for back issues of Marvel. This is a medium sized shop with an extensive selection—3-layered arrangement of long-boxes with items cover-priced unless otherwise marked. With the place to myself for most of my visit, I was able to look through the back issues in peace and left with over $30 in late 80s and early 90s Marvel. While I wish parking were easier in the neighborhood, that’s a minor thing. And if you’re familiar with Ontario Street comics on Philly, you know you don’t and can’t judge a shop by its neighborhood. Go here!

From the outside it's a plain looking row home in Allentown. Going inside you enter a wonderful comic escape. The owner Ty was a pleasure to talk with and lead to us spending more time than planned in a good way. Looking forward to many more visits.
