I have used Garin for more than a decade, my bad. No job ever got done the way he proffered it. What he says is not what he does. He is capable but everything turns out to be a 3 on a 5 scale. He is affable but trust and truth are distant cousins. He is quick to take a retainer but completion is not close to when he says it will be done. He charges what he thinks he can get away with. He buggers up the work, blames others and does not make good! Recently I gave him two simple projects. After months of calls he finally finished one did not even do the second and wanted 3 times more than I expected. He does not give an good quote and it’s always a trust me quote! This time I told him to keep the project I’m not paying his outrageous charge and that he is nothing more than a crook. Ask me how I really feel. “! He says he will do want you want but does what he wants and then justifies what he did that you did not expect. Use him and “good luck”!

I have used Garin and Frank for multiple furniture refinishing projects, and each have turned out fantastic. Very fair pricing. He can turn an old piece of well-made furniture into something new.

Had 9 am appointment no show. Call him he said oh did I. He came out to assess my furniture needs only after I agreed to pay a 65.00 estament fee. We had him fix the top of a dresser that had water damage for 650.00 dollars. you can see the sanding strips in the pictures below. Not only that when he brought it out he said oh its still wet we had to touch up a white spot. He didn't tell me about it until it was brought in the house. when ask if I would see the spot once it dried he smiled and didn't answer me. well 3 days later the spot is still permanent. I paid two much money for this type of work in my opinion. You can see the spot they left wet. He sent the worker back out and after 10 20 minutes he left and it was worse when it dried. I learned lesson if u don't see 50 reviews beware. worst decision of 2021 having bossert fix this for me. keep in mind this is my opinion but after 20 years in the military I'm obligated to tell it like it is.

Garin and Frank did an amazing job on a barrel top desk my father gave me many years ago. It’s needed some work plus refinishing. They exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend them!

I had been wanting to get some family pieces repaired for some time. I contacted a few local vendors and only Bossert's gave a reasonable price and acceptable turn around time. More than satisfied with their work and attention to detail.

While in storage, my antique family bed was basically destroyed in a basement flood. The team at Bossert's not only repaired the bed's significant water damage, they also restored the bed to a level of original beauty no one in my family had ever seen. The staff at Bossert's is easy to work with and the company's prices are reasonable. The bed looks amazing now, and I would highly recommend Bossert's to anyone.

I've used a couple of different companies to strip painted furniture. Bosserts is the only company that returned these pieces completely stripped to the point that I didn't have to do any additional work before I could stain and refinish.

I began my relationship years ago with Bossert's when I read their ad stating "no job too small"; I wanted the finial of my great grandparent's bed post repaired. To my delight, the broken tip was so well repaired, I couldn't tell it was ever broken! I then proceeded to have Bossert's work on my French buffet that unsuccessfully made it from FL to our house in PA unscathed. One of the movers broke a drawer and some of the elaborate inlay and woodwork had chipped off. My husband told me to pitch it but I called Bossert's after seeing how well my finial turned out and he came to the house to review the buffet. He said it would take some time to repair it and it did take quite a few months but when it was returned, I cried--it was beautiful. Not only did Bossert's fill in the missing inlay, fix the draw to perfection and repair the chips such that I couldn't find them, he also lined the silverware drawers with felt. I was so pleased and now my husband likes the piece! Since that experience, I go to Bossert's for all my furniture repairs. Antique dining chairs have been taken apart and reglued and finished so I no longer fear when family members use them. I've also had 2 large wooden chairs sprayed in black lacquer. They look stunning. What I like about Garin Bossert is his focus on details and his easy going manner. He is an artist and he and his staff are friendly and helpful. You won't have fear having work done under his care.

Extremely happy with Bossert's Custom Refinishing! Gavin came out the day I contacted him and he quoted a fair price and took my dresser top and mirror to refinish that day. He completed the work in one month's time and it is beautiful. My dresser was damaged from my daughter's leaky hairspray bottle. It had a perfume bottle attached to it as well. I would highly recommend Bossert's!
