They were there for my family and I during a difficult time. Most caring and understanding agency. We were able to get help with what we needed at the time, my family and I are very grateful.

This clinic DOES NOT provide abortions or refer to anywhere that does. I was looking for somewhere that provides abortion services and checked out this clinic. Their website makes it seem like they might provide abortions, but when I continued learning about this clinic, I found that they do not provide abortion services. When I spoke to a staff member, they told me that they do not provide abortion services, abortion referrals, or birth control.

My wife and I suffered a loss of job, illness, complete devastation. No, I don't want charity, no I don't expect charity. I am not entitled. However, you cannot get a return call from them. You cannot get a return email from them. You can get no communication from them at all. It is a black hole of nothingness. Might as well throw a bottle with a note in it in the ocean.I only post this here so people who need help within reasonable time don't bother to go here, try to get assistance elsewhere. I've been waiting for communications for 4 months now, and nothing.Shame on you.

VERY HELPFUL TO ALL, THANK GOD FOR CATHOLIC CHARITIES, GOD BLESS TOM AND ROB. SADLY THE SECRETARY NEEDS TO LEARN THE MEANING OF COMPASSION, NOT TO ACCUSE PEOPLE OF HER ATTITUDE ISSUES! IM SORRY YOUR DEALING WITH COVID, PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN TO WHICH MAKES IT STRESSFUL FOR ALL. I PRAY GOD BLESSES ALL OF YOU FOR THE WORK YOU DO TO HELP EVERYONE.

These people told us they would help us pay our rent ... told us not to worry that everything will be fine... just to tell us that they can't help us .... now we are backed up 3 months rent and on the verge of getting evicted ... we have 3 kids including a 1 year old baby.... DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE ....

I've been with Catholic Charities for over 30+ years and never have I seen a decline in Human Services with any organization as I have with them. Catholic Charities you need to step up your game or step out. You used to care. What happened. Embarrassing...

This place agreed to cover 28 days with a good possibility of extended duration of stay if needed for housing at a local Rodeway inn hotel due to me being affected by the COVID Corona virus nationally declared disaster/pandemic. The church received funds from the federal government to offer assistance to the homeless such as back rent, late rent, temporary housing, home down payments, etc. I had run into a issue with the hotel manager about 24 days into my stay and was forced to leave the property with no where to go and homeless. I called the catholic charities that same day and ended up leaving a message and was told I would be called right back and for 4 days I called numerous times each day and left messages and never received a call back. I walked a few miles after the fourth day to speak to them in person since my calls weren’t returned and I was told that the owner wouldn’t allow me to return to the hotel and the church could not place me into another hotel because the Rodeway in off Downyflake lane Allentown 18103 was the only place who would accept a check payment from the church and they were the only hotel the church had a contract with. The church told me they would cover me if the owner of the hotel allowed me to come back however when I returned to the hotel and talked to the manager Chad and owner Danni they called the church and told them they would allow me to comeback and stay and the church still denied to pay for my stay so they basically ignored me for four days with over 30 total calls and at least 5 messages and then lied to my face about covering more time for me at the hotel. It was a very difficult experience and left me very hurt and in a very difficult situation during an already very hard traumatic period of time.

There are a lot of bad reviews here because of money. That is ridiculous. It's a charity. They charge next to nothing for thousands of dollars worth of legal advice. The trade-off is that they are a little slower than an attorney would be. That is probably due to their high case load. These are good, hardworking people who spend their time helping others. I switched from CC to an attorney because I wanted to speed up my immigration process and I could afford it. But the staff here are so kind and caring, that if I did not have the funds, I would have been alright with staying with CC. It's a great organization.
