Called multiple times to report lost credit card,wasted much time on hold with multiple people some who were supervisors who were unaware of how to rectify me getting a replacement card,The next day called and a supervisor by the name of Katrina solved my problem within 5 minutes.the people in call center are not trained thourly,Thanks Katrina you are 6 stars

My experience at FCFCU on Union Blvd Allentown was excellent. I went in to solve a matter with my sister and ended up opening an account. Amber Lopez was the financial councelor that helped us. She was so sweet and courteous. Took her time to explain all the services offered by the credit union. Spoke so calm and with an easy to understand vocabulary. She a bilingual well educated and knowledgeable in her field. Would recommend her for any financial assistance and referral.

I made the appointment at the Bethlehem branch and was greeted professionally and was out of the bank with my new debit card within 1/2 hour. We have never had a problem with FC.

Ok, This place has not gotten any better. I have been a member for, I believe almost 20 years.Since then, They have severely misplaced my mortgage payments, Yelled at me saying that I never made a principal payment. And many other issues. Finally, They promoted a great manager, and she has since left. It has gone down hill again. And not Just Fogelsville, the whole credit union. I have been a member of PSECU for 11 years and have had a Mortgage, a motorcycle loan, and many other accounts without any hiccups. I am switching all of my accounts to PSECU. Their reviews run circles around Firstcom, along with their Customer service.Today, when speaking with a customer service rep, and asking if he could help me to cancel all of my recurring payments to credit card, etc... (I am transferring to PSECU), he stated That there would be fees for helping me out..and this is a direct cut and paste from the chat transcript...David Baechle: There should not be any fees.....Why would you charge someone to d/c recurring paymentsCraig: Because we are doing the work to stop all payments from our end.Seriously?I also spoke with Rema, Who was going to come flying in with her super hero cape, and fix the day. She wasted 20 minutes of my time, and realized after 20 minutes, she did not know what I needed. I walked into Fogelsville, figuring that in person would be better. I wanted to speak with Stacey Ridriguez, VP Retail Director."Oh, she is in Trexlertown today, I just TEAMed her" Told this lady to TEAMS her, and let her know I was coming over.Drove to Trexlertown, "Oh, She is in Allentown"Drove to Allentown, now 4:45 PM"Oh she is in Kutztown". Then I made Enzo get Stacey on the phone. Stacey wanted Enzo to show me how to do what I have been doing for years, but of course this week, The website was not working, due to their genius upgrades. But Stacey insisted. I was not going to waste 15 minutes with fruitless attempts, that I have been doing for a few days, just to run out of time, and all employees needed to go home. I asked multiple times if she could just stop all of my recurring payments, at first she said yes, then she refused.To respond to their response.....They were told several times that the steps to accomplish what we needed to do was not working, due to website issues, as I had attempted multiple times. This was made absolutely clear...And this is why I asked many people if they can do it from their computer, andsome said there would be a charge, and others said yes, but then would not...Typical excuses by a company caught in bad customer service.

These guys stole $500 from me for an appraisal that never occurred. They may have one of the lowest rates for a mortgage but if your deal falls through they will never give you a dime back. Negotiate that your appraisal fee comes out at closing. I don't live in the area to go to a local branch. Customer service and the loan guy won't return my calls.

I've had them for about 5 years, never any issues until recently. Can't get anyone on the phone tried multiple times and days to dispute added charges, have to take time off of work and go to a branch to settle even the smallest of issues. Frustrating.

Really, just remarkably bad. With all the changes brought by the pandemic, you'd think First Commonwealth would up their game in the digital realm. Nope. Too busy acquiring Baker to invest in their existing customers. If you want to feel like you were punched in the gut in terms of customer service, please join. Otherwise, steer clear.
