I’ll give them 3 stars because for the most part, there are some positives to this facility. They are pretty clean, and there’s only about 2 good instructors. Unfortunately, those are the ones who swim with the olderish kids, where they don’t have to teach them much.
That’s a downfall. I needed both of my kids to learn from the smallest starting steps.
For the remaining instructors, they are really young. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but they don’t work well with the younger age group. They don’t teach them what they are doing incorrectly, and fix it so they can actually learn. All they do is let them “swim” to the wall and then have them turn around to come back, and that’s it. That’s the lesson you pay for.
The turnover for the instructors is another down fall, there is always someone different. It’s hard for your child to get accustomed to someone, and it’s hard for each new instructor every week to know where the child still may need some developments. My daughter either had someone new, or had someone that I specifically asked for her not to be scheduled with, because she never helped her swim. Never instructed on something as small as kicking properly. Once that was recorded, this same instructor would always look at me and point to the newer instructor, telling them who I was. Very childish, but it is what it is.
You pay for 30min, you are lucky to get a full 25 minutes. By the time they start it’s 5 over, and they always, ALWAYS finish 2 minutes earlier.
I gave it 4 months, hoping for some changes but nothing.
And the talking……. they spend SO much time just chatting the kids spend such a long time just sitting around.
No one saying you can’t talk with your peers, but taking so much time away from a paying customer, and the kids are literally just sitting there for minutes on end, is a little absurd.

Excellent instructors that are great with kids. My toddler was apprehensive to get in the water and after just 1 lesson, she was excited and eager to participate. Highly recommend!

Their instructors are High school kids. I don’t know if they qualify to be swimming coaches.

We had our son’s birthday party here and it was great! The staff were very friendly and responsive to any questions I had. The party room was perfect and all set up when we got there. The staff continually checked on us to see if we needed help with anything or needed any additional party supplies. The kids had an absolute blast swimming in the pool. Such a fun party idea for winter birthdays, highly recommend!

I had my two young kids enrolled here for nearly 2 years and it’s really gone downhill. The coaching staff changes frequently and spend 50% of the time taking breaks with the kids just sitting in the pool waiting to do something. We left a few months ago and switched to EMAC at Steel Fitness. We’re very happy with the switch and my kids have made so much more progress in just a short amount of time.

I’m very disappointed with the condition of your facility. Within just 15 minutes of arriving, I suffered a deep cut on my toe due to poor maintenance. It was upsetting that no staff member seemed concerned, and it took far too long for anyone to bring me a bandage while I was bleeding. Additionally, the atmosphere lacked energy, which is disheartening because I was hoping to find a place to bring my son every week. Please address the safety of your pools before a child gets seriously injured.

This place is a ripoff. The lessons are the same even what was changing different trainers that are all nice also pay for month in advance and if you miss some of the lessons and you cancel the ones you missed they don't want to pay you for

The staff are very nice. The instructors pay detailed attention to the children. They have given helpful tips and instructions for my children to progress during and outside of swim lessons. Also they are flexible with missed classes. The facility is always clean and a nice convenient set up for parents.

Took my 6 month old daughter here for a trial class. She was alittle scared of the water. So my husband and I decided to sign her up for twice a week every month. She is now 9 months old and she now loves to swim. The instructors are great with her. The manager Kaitlyn is also very nice and friendly. She knows all the kids by name when u come in for classes. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who has a child who is just learning to swim or is a afraid to swim the staff is very helpful with any situation. Again I would highly recommend this swimming school to anyone.

My kid has been going here for 3 years. From the mommy & me class to being able to learn to swim independently. 100% would do again. If there’s ever an issue, they’re quick to make things right.
