Great company. I just gave them information about my son and they handled the rest. The bed is also very high quality as well.

I just love my son's Ida Bed I can sleep peacefully at night just knowing he is safe and can't fall out of bed and get hurt during a seizure

It took years to obtain funding for my daughter's bed, so I was beyond words excited to finally be able to fulfill this unmet need. Because we reside in another state, I chose to purchase the "white glove" delivery service. The company that delivered and installed the bed was subcontracted by Kayser Betten. When the individuals arrived to put the bed together, they were completely unfamiliar with the product. They read the instructions that came with the box and completed installation. A few weeks later, I started having issues with the bed and its doors shutting properly. I contacted Kayser Betten and they sent their repair team to my home in a satisfactory time frame. They were efficient, kind, and professional. It turns out that the bed was installed improperly-the doors were put in upside down. I was relieved that it was fixed, but dismayed at the scratches left on the bed and very disappointed by the white glove delivery service. Months later the bed started to squeak. I was told that these were the Cadillac of safe beds; I was hopeful that it would provide not only safety and peace of mind, but a an entirely quiet alternative to my daughter bouncing around in her crib all night. Not only has the squeaking gotten worse, but the magnets that hold the doors in place while the bed is open no longer work. This is not only unsafe, but a huge disappointment for a piece of equipment that costs thousands of dollars. The company requested that I send them video of the bed going up and down. There was no squeaking in the video because the sounds were occurring during weight bearing movement (I had already told them this, at least twice). They informed me that the factory told them the squeaking was normal. What? I was so confused. This completely went against what this bed was designed for. When I expressed my dismay, I was told to "not shoot the messenger." They requested that I send them another video of the squeaking and told me to put Vaseline on the joints. Again, for a bed that cost the same as many vehicles, I couldn't believe that I needed to do this maintenance on my own...and send another video. I contacted the owner to express my dissatisfaction and request a technician be sent to my home asap. I have yet to hear back. I hope this review is helpful to families that are considering a purchase from this company. Life is stressful enough caring for a child with multiple disabilities. Purchases like these are supposed to improve quality of life for everyone and it has turned out to be a major, entirely unnecessary stressor.
