I thought credit unions were supposed to be more personal and have higher levels of customer care. I am a small business owner who operates a service oriented business that relies on good customer service. I have been trying to work with People's First for the last 4 months since taking Power Of Attorney over my father's finances and medical situations. This bank does not answer the phone when you call, ever, and never responds to support questions via email. The only way to talk to anyone is by scheduling an appt online and then going down to the bank at your assigned appt time. The least they could do is answer the phones or respond to emails. Terrible customer service. I don't have time to run over to this bank every time I have a question. After looking at all the reviews here on google and yelp, this is a recurring theme. Management needs to take a look at this. Do better.

Since you guys decided to make this a thing, I'm happy to oblige. My name is Nicholas Ryan Snyder. I've been a member of your bank for 25 years. You used to have excellent customer service, but in the last 2 years it's gone completely off the rails. To top it all off you have some idiot attempting to respond to your terrible reviews by questioning the validity of the reviewer. Quite a far fall guys. Best of luck getting your act together.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. On a $20 check they debited me $90. So, I called to straighten it out. One hour later I am still on the phone. Customer service is not a thing they strive for. Their idea of customer service is to keep you on hold for one hour and then hang up on you. it is time to look for another bank.

Wow - terrible customer service, terrible web-interface. Went online to change checking account to draw from for auto loan and delete old account. Everything looks OK online, but when time came to process the payment, they tried to pull from the deleted account. Called customer service. Person on phone could not comprehend problem, could not access anything to look up, simply told me to wait and see what happens next month. I think I'll pay a higher interest rate with my back and payoff this loan rather than deal with them any longer. Faulkner Subaru - I don't know what kickbacks you get from PFFCU, but they aren't worth it.

Worst bank ever I'm changing to another bank..they don't pick up the phone ever you have to go straight to the bank for a simple issue

Sorry to say, the good times are over. Have been with PFCU for forty years, but it's become a mess. ATMs are not maintained, or malfunction, communication with a real person is near impossible. I got behind on a loan payment, so the credit union blocked access to online check deposit, and when I went to the actual bank, the ATM refused my card. So, if you don't pay your loan , they make it impossible to... deposit money so you can PAY your loan? Hate to switch to Wells Fargo after this long, but PF seems to have some problems.

I've been a member of People First since I have been a child. my experience has been lots of racism and ageism. None of the systems and or processes have been inclusive to my identity and my experience. I can't wait to transition our of people first and now that so was scammed and they refused to accept my dispute, I am completely done!

I belong to the Credit union since it was mack trucks this place has gone way down hill no one will talk to u I have banking problems no help from them iam getting ready to take my money an go to a new bank they realy stink. Brian

I had a small saving and checking. I was going to continue to use this to build a savings. I just opened a statement and was charged dormant fees. The account is wiped out. What a great way to lose people from the community. People first? Laughable.

Their customer service is office. The wait time is horrible. Waited over 30min to try and get mistake fixed that they admitted too. Told a supervisor would call me back. I'm still waiting for their call back. Been a customer for over 25 years. Not anymore.

Poor customer service. It's like pulling teeth to get anything done. Wait forever for someone to answer the phone, if they do at all, then you can't make an appointment more than 2 weeks in advance. Don't show up without an appointment either. Hence poor customer service review. The office staff are not confident in knowing how to handle situations as simple as removing a deceased person from an account. Death certificate was supplied months earlier BUT we were asked WHY we did not have this person removed from a joint account. REALLY..we had to also ASK for the process to be actually done by a bank employee? REALLY? This used to be a good bank but I can no longer say I'm proud to be with this CU.

This rating is for the trexlertown branch. Our teller was Jessie. She has such poor customer service experience, I have no idea why she is working in this field. She was unhelpful and uncooperative. It was like pulling teeth to get anything accomplished, which by the way, I did not. she slammed down my atm card instead of handing it to me. It cannot be that bad. If you hate your job, quit.

They could care less about the person and focus on money only. Very limited when it comes to diversify and inclusion. Be careful who you bank with and this is not a business, that acts as a non profit.

So I'm good enough to bank with, but I'm not good enough to get an auto loan thru your bank. Maybe I'll just take my money to another institution then. All 4 of my accounts. I got a credit score of 835, and I pay all my bills on time so how do you not approve me for an auto loan,

I used to get so frustrated with this quasi bank from the 90's. Initially no ability to pay online. At least now we can pay online if a customer ever makes it there. The site functions like you would expect from a middle school student project back in the 90's. I don't know whose brother in law or nephew was given this job but it is frightening to think any of their other departments are as bad as this. I will now call every 2 weeks to pay car loan which makes about as much sense as their website.
