I’ve been bringing my poodle for grooming at this petco location for a few years now and most times it’s been okay. It’s usually a mediocre job for a decent price, (before they raised their prices). Their grooming services have never taken more than an hour or so however, the most recent time I brought my poodle it took them OVER three hours. After calling multiple times with no response, I just showed up as I had plans for later that day. When I arrived they were not even done. They told me that the “reason it took so long was because my dog had two really bad senior moments.” That required them to put her in a cage for a few minutes to “calm down”. My dog has never had “senior moments” with me or with any other groomer, however I did not witness this. But what I can say is that if you really only left my dog in a cage for a few minutes I doubt it would’ve taken you three hours to groom her. It’s ridiculous. For a price close to $100 with poor customer service and mediocre grooming something has to change. My dog was VERY stressed when I picked her up which is unlike her for grooming. And if my dog was really acting this erratic why would they not think to call and let me know that it was going to take close to four hours to complete her? The time doesn’t match up, it makes no sense. Also when I arrived to the location, there were about four women standing around at the front desk essentially doing nothing, so I’m sure one of them could’ve picked up the phone when I called mere minutes prior. Needless to say I was very displeased and will it be brining her back for grooming.

My mom got her pet from here it was really sweet but I felt like the workers could have been more attentive sometimes I felt like you were bothering him and I didn't like that

I really don’t like the customer service at this store, especially from the women at the register. They come across as rude, unhelpful, and seem annoyed when asked a question. I never feel welcomed here because the employees aren’t friendly at all.
The only person who showed any effort was a tall guy with curly hair—he actually asked if I needed help. When I told him I was looking for food for a Goldendoodle, he even pulled up his phone to check since he wasn’t sure what they looked like. While I appreciated the effort, it was surprising that he didn’t already know.
On the other hand, I asked a quick question to a woman with a cart full of items, and she looked visibly annoyed—if you don’t want to help, just say that.

The store is always clean, and I love how they do adoption events. The only reason I won't go above 3 stars is that their website has discounts that you can buy then do store pick up and items that they have on stock show as "not in stock" but exist under the same UPC in store for more $. I find this to be poor customer obsession practice, and even though it's the closest store, I try to go elsewhere for frugality sake. (Because that's just shady.)

Customer service from one of your employees was below standard. I was in your Lehigh Street store yesterday, September 23rd where I was purchasing a guinea pig. I was shamed from this employee for temporarily holding my guinea pig in a plastic tote. I explained that I was going to purchase a cage in the next couple of days, however, he continued to ridicule me and make smart remarks to me and my peers. Once I was ready to check out he continued to talk about me to the cashier, who was very nice and her customer service was top-notch. He not only made smart remarks about the cage but everything else as well. I hope this incident never happens to me again. He needs a few lessons in customer service.

Deceptively small from the outside, but this Petco has a wide variety of essentials. The aquatics section in particular is why I've come back here - whoever takes care of their fish really, really cares, and it shows. Everything is healthy and there are plenty of plants to choose from on top of everything! The staff have been nothing but patient and helpful. My favorite one to go to by far

I came in looking to set up a shrimp tank because of a social media influencer (LOL). I was assisted by Megan who looked like she was busy taking care of the fish but stopped to help me out. She was helpful in selecting the proper tank size, ornaments, bio filters, etc . I came back two weeks later after my parameters were established and the shrimp the store had in stock were excellent. Very colorful and active . A+ to the Petco team and Megan

Waited in line for About 10 mins for the manager to come over to assist my cashier with a discount for my order. Instead of coming to assist, Megan (manager) stood in the grooming room talking to employees and ignored her cashiers call for assistance.
Skyler was great help and patient. Ended up leaving without my discount because I wasn’t waiting any longer.
Horrible management with horrible customer service skills. Perhaps Skyler should be promoted to this position.
I’ll take my business to petsmart here in out.
