Nice staff, although many don't speak a word of English. Get by well enough with some smiles and a thank you. Food here is more expensive than a larger grocery store. You need to be careful to check the dates on items you purchase. Purchased some 8 ounce cans of Tuttorosso tomato sauce for the stew I was making. Both were over a year past sell by. One was sell by 2021 and I purchased in August of 2023! Almost bought a creamer that was 2 months old. Bought a pound and a half of 90/10 beef sirloin that went completely grey 5 days before the sell by date. I only buy meat her if I'm freezing it or immediately using it. Prefer to get my meat from the butchers behind the counter instead of what is on the shelves. Oh last thing. You can't bring bags into the store because people are thieves and take things. The variety of ethnic food is a huge plus and what gives this place an average score, otherwise forget it due to the prices.

I go there to buy my sofrito ingredients and other things that I can't find in other places. People always mention the odor but is not as terrible as they want to make it seem. There is a smell when you first go in the store but after you pass the entrance is gone. Cashiers are very friendly and courteous. I recommend this supermarket, they carry a whole variety of products.

Massive inner city supermarket offering a wide variety of fresh food items, fresh meats and seafood. There is plenty of free parking right in front of the building. Upon entering, you are greeted by a security guard who is also keeping an eye on the parking lot. There are also plenty of friendly employees. You will find almost anything food related here.

I have been using online shopping services since COVID began. Today was my first time going into a market in what feels like 3 years. I didn't have a list I just knew I needed to go get food. Supremo is local to me versus Walmart in Whitehall which was my source for getting groceries delivered. Something happened where my EBT had been hacked (still don't know how) so I had to order a new card and create new pin hoping to stop the theft. Being the first time in a long time going into a market I can say the anxiety I had on my way there and upon entering was alleviated immediately by the fresh produce you see and smell when you walk in. Associates were busy stocking and reorganizing items as I shopped. It was clean to my eyes. No obscene smell. I did end up with a creaky cart but that happens sometimes so I went to go grab a new one. I went to take the creaky one out and instead an attentive associate offered to take it out for me. I was grateful. I found all the items I came for. At checkout, the associate was helpful with how I could bag my food best because I use reusable bags and do not take plastic home. I appreciate people who share wisdom even when they don't have to. What I liked most about my experience is that no one bothered me until it was obvious I needed help and that is essential to me. I came to shop so you don't have to follow me around asking if I need help with anything. So, for all this I give them 5 stars. Not everyone will have the same experience I did but remember, life is what you make it. I wanted a good experience so I made it so by appreciating what they have to offer and not worrying about the prices not being Walmart prices because when it comes to food it should be quality over quantity and shopping local is one of the best thing you can do for your neighborhood. Do Only Good Everyday.

We came here for a specific messy but ended up walking around and picking up quite a bit. The store was clean and brightly lit. There was such a variety of different things you don't see at a Giant or Weiss. The checkout employee moved much slower than at other stores but she intentionally bagged like things together and didn't just throw random items together and try to push us out quick. The parking lot, some of the aisles, and some of the checkout lanes were very crowded and narrow. That's the only real downside.

Most of the food is expired. There are way too many international food aisles and a poor selection of other products. The produce is not good either. They make you leave your bags with someone because they theft. Only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because the location is convenient and prices are ok.

Wide variety of food items, helpful staff. Quite stuffy and dark though, something should be done about ventilation and lighting.

It’s February 23 and they have yogurt expired since February 9th available for purchase. It’s sad how every time I shop here I have to save my receipt and go back to return expired things . The owner and management really needs to do better with this because people can get sick from this problem and it’s a big inconvenience to drive back
