One Flippin check out! Long line and no management. Self check out equally mobbed. Not a positive experience.

During covid-19, I feel reassured that Target implemented safety guidelines. I love shopping at Target and this store is one of my favorite to shop for a number of reasons. While some Targets don't have a Starbucks, this location has a Starbucks upon entering the store on the left side. I also like how Target occasionally has a 10-20% off Starbucks purchases using the Target app. 1. There is a huge sign by the entrance that customers must wear face covering to enter 2. There is a hand sanitizer stand after you walk into the first glass doors before the second glass doors 3. An employee is usually by the entrance and there are ample freshly wiped shopping carts. 4. The store is so well stocked with items especially essential items, snacks, canned goods, dried goods, bottles of water/beverages and juice 5. Brightly lit and organized and well stocked aisles 6. Bathroom is clean, there are plastic shields between each sink; also well stocked with hand soap soap, TP and paper towels 7. Efficient to order online for pick up at the store and you go to guest service to retrieve your items

I wanted to sit down right away and write this in hopes that the Target girls at the customer and guest desks see this. This morning the girls went above and beyond to happily and with very much courtesy being helpful in finding out why $20 Nintendo gift card did not redeem for a grandson going through surgery. I did not have the gift card because I sent it to my grandson. After, at the very least, 5 phone calls between us , and much frustration and tears on my part ( not during the phone calls.) we discovered the cashier didn't swipe the card to be purchased. It wasn't on my receipt. Helpful tip, you can bring up your receipt on your target app. I do not blame the cashier, because she might have been new and seemed a little flustered checking us out. And the cashier was very helpful. It is just something that happens in life situations. But I wanted very much to let the girls that were so helpful today know how much I appreciated all they happily did for me to remedy this situation. Thank you ,thank you, thank you. Tip for anyone reading this. Please purchase each of your gift cards separately so you have a receipt for each gift cards for activation proof.. Most store policies are that they did not give gift card activation receipts anymore . that way it is less chance this situation will not occur again. It will free up time for the girls at the customer and guest desks to do other things that they might need to do and ( lol ), free up your's and the gift card reciptients' time and less frustration.

Update: today I had phenomenal service at checkout and was definitely more pleased than I had been at my last visit. I still wish there were more Target employees visible to answer questions. There were several other customers also having trouble finding some things. I did take note of an employee in the cosmetics area. Very good idea. Previous: This is not my favorite Target location. I find the product variety and customer service to be much better at the other Target in Allentown. There were some great buys today! I got super adorable Christmas cards (box of 12) for $3. And I am very particular about cards. Target brand baby wipes are always a good buy here. I think jewelry and clothing is a bit pricey. There were some nice racer back yoga shirts by Champion for around $12 but none in a medium. Sigh..... Groceries are often a decent value and produce is fresh. With the Target Red Card 5% off, many items seem to even out in comparison to a grocery store (not all. Maybe one-third?) I am not the best comparison shopper but I try to look at prices.... I was having trouble finding several things and I was passed by several employees. No one said hello or asked, "may I help you." That's not the Target Service I am used to. The pharmacy employees were helpful. Huge props to the crew of Target employees at the Starbucks, though!! Please see my photo and comments ... they are exceptional. I will be writing to Target about these three stellar employees.

WORST TARGET EVER !! I was stopped from buying more than 2 bottle of Ripple protein milk apparently they allow only 2 bottle per customer. Wow !! In case weather is bad tomorrow or I fall ill or if my kids wants more than usual about of milk , I need to either go back to target to get 2 more bottles or ask friends for help to buy milk for me . SHAME ON TARGET ( not sure if you actually have a policy like that or you just have unprofessional employees )

Unprofessional management. Waited forever to talk to management and when they finally addressed the situation they were snobby and dismissive. Won't be back.
