I love our apartment!!! Community is quiet and convenient. We are new residents to Whitestone and it’s one of the nicest places to live in that we have experienced!!

This might be a fine place to live, but please pick up the litter and hazardous trash people discard along the side of 30th street when coming into the appts. People want to walk to Ithaca Park and not see trash and dangerous waste. --Glad management responded and said they will call the city to do something since it isn't their land, yet somehow I suspect it is their tenants doing the tossing--

Love the admin office and the maintenance crew! Filed for a maintenance request for bathroom sink LAST NIGHT. They came the next morning! Maintenance was very respectful, friendly and did a great job!

Amazing experience as a first-time renter!! The office staff were more than helpful in walking me through the process of signing my 1st lease. Lisa specifically was/is an invaluable resource for any questions I've needed answered.Sound pollution is all but nonexistent. Most of the time, my dog is the only one who notices we have neighbors. The only time I've really noticed the people living above, under, and beside us was New Years Eve, which is to be expected.Parking could be more accessible seeing as my roommate has to walk to the overflow lot across the complex. Furthermore, parking is 1st come 1st serve with a sparce lack of disabled spaces, which is something I think should be improved. The hallways between units aren't spotless, but they aren't particularly dirty either. That said I'm not super concerned with the state of the hallway leading up to my apartment, I'm more interested with the state of the apartment itself.I live in a 2 bedroom upgraded unit that I split between 3 people. I am a barista at Starbucks, I manage to live comfortably after rent and expenses. So, for what im getting, I find the amount I am paying every month to be more than reasonable. So if you're in the market for an apartment, I highly suggest Whitestone village apartments. I'm personally very happy with my new home.

Had lived there for 3 years and finally moved out.Interesting fiction on here. The real life experience is:Slamming doors, loud and disruptive behavior in the halls, banging on the walls, Loud parties until Monday at 5am, smoking in the common areas (weed, and tobacco) hearing neighbor's water, harassment from the neighbors, a manager who ignores most complaints, trash everywhere, limited amenities, and altogether poor quality of life and no regard to the covenant of quiet enjoyment.Furthermore...it is clear the management has no interest in quality and cleanliness of the property, they don't enforce reasonable behavior and conduct. There is a lot of hate within the community, and it doesn't feel safe to live here anymore.Yes...lovely place to live.So renter beware...

Very quick and effective!! I submitted my maintenance request on Sunday and it was fixed by Monday afternoon. I also appreciated the emails to inform me what step my request was at. It was nice to see my request was completed while I was still at work!

Pride in property is non existant. Common areas were constantly filthy. Laundry rooms were nasty. Parking is terrible, and over the last 2 years the people moving in are extremely low class and rude. Glad we moved out.

Filthy hallway filthy and I mean extremely filthy walls and doors parking lots front and back entrances no one ever cleans shame on you I had to constantly sweep mop my hallways the carpet’s extremely filthy closet doors no good always off rails not worth it at all not worth paying 1700-1800 plus water trash insurance etc. there is a new property manager sits on his butt all day and does nothing at all the place is more like the projects. I moved out lucky for them I cleaned the whole apartment including gabinete and refused to give me my deposit I had no broken walls or doors or fixtures I will take this further including corporate

Although I was not living there myself, I visited my partner a fair amount during their lease so I was exposed to how awful the conditions were. Between the incessant noise (music, extracurricular activities (iykyk), stomping, yelling, etc.) from the neighbors that woke both of us up several times throughout the night, bugs throughout the apartment, extensive MOLD on several surfaces, and other odds and ends, the strain on their mental headspace from living in such poor living conditions concerned me greatly. To summarize this negative experience in only a few sentences doesn't do the explanation justice, but trust me, for the sake of you and your mental health, find somewhere else to live. It'll probably be cheaper too! I will never understand the justification of the rent being SO expensive with minimal if any benefit other than proximity to their workplace when living in these conditions.

Trashy place. Nothing is ever clean. Shared laundry room always filthy. Trash all over. Noisy neighbors who don't care what time of day it is. Parking is awful. Maintenance is awful. Snow removal is terrible. They don't enforce any of the rules in place its a free for all. Nobody has any courtesy of others. No amenities at all. It's bad.

If I could give them a -1000 I would. These people scammed me into thinking I was going to be living in a “upgraded luxury” apartment, SIKE. I had about a month to move before my lease was up so I was trying to find a place fast. I had seen the pictures and videos and it looked pretty nice it was a bit high in price but they accepted dogs and I didn’t have much time. Long story short I signed the lease prior to seeing the apartment because they told me that the person still hadn’t vacate the property & management was going in right away to paint, fix up, etc. I got my keys on the same day my lease started. That same day I was back in the office requesting a refund. The pictures & videos they show look nothing like the units they are renting. The pictures speak for themselves. $1843 +trash/water for this….. From the condition of the building itself was unacceptable for that price. The lady in the office that had helped me throughout the process was extremely nice & helpful but I was taken back by how surprised she when I had expressed my disappointment. I don’t know why they would think this is acceptable, she told me herself she had inspected the apartment prior to giving me my keys.

I don't recommend this apartment for sure, I moved in last month, horrible experience, dirty carpet, dusty bathroom, broken bathtub, see attached picture for bathroom, even found hair in tub, cat food in cabinets. No dishwasher, no laundry in building. And rent is skyrocketing. Zero star from my personal experience. It's old and rusty building. Pls visit apartment before move in.

I was very hesitant in writing this review, however, it has been 1 month since breaking my lease and I couldn’t be happier. I lived here for 7 months and it was the WORST experience I’ve ever went through. Our apartment (93A) was filled with tiny flies that were found mainly in the bathroom and kitchen. They did start getting out of control and being around the whole apartment. When pest control came to the apartment, they did state these flies were due to a structural issue, which the office said “there’s no way they should’ve said that because there’s no way to know the REAL cause of the issue”. I had to complain, until finally, Pam decided to inspect my apartment herself and let me break my lease. It was horrible living here. I would even find the flies in our fridge and my one year old’s cups. When moving out, all my belongings were filled with mold. Please, if you live here make sure to have mold protection in your insurance because I lost so much furniture and received NOTHING in return. It is not worth the price and the experience we went through. I had multiple people in and out of our apartment, multiple times, with no answers or help. At some point, I got more answers from Mike the maintenance man then I did from the office. Stay away from this unit!
