Barnes & Noble is a great bookstore with a laid-back atmosphere. It offers lots of books, as well as journals, games, and even music like old heavy metal CDs. The store is clean and in a nice location, though some find it small with a more limited selection compared to others. It features an attached Starbucks for coffee, with nice seating options there and around the store. The staff is kind. However, the Starbucks service is considered very mediocre by some and does not accept Starbucks gift cards or points, which can be frustrating. Prices can be a little high, but that is to be expected. It remains a recommended place to browse, read, and enjoy.
Whenever we visit Altoona, PA we always visit the B & N. Don't forget to visit the clearance rack in the back near the music section.

Prices are insane. But that's just today's world. I dont know, I get super overwhelmed in there and dont even know where to start. Especially when im LOOKING for something new. Otherwise. Place is clean. People are cool.
