Geek squad at this place is absolutely horrible. Today I had a 3rd appointment to get my back iPhone screen fixed because it cracked. I had an appointment at 12:40 then sat there for an hour before someone finally told me what they were going to do. I turned my phone in and was told to come back in 3 hours. Come back and my phone is still being worked on and it’s recommended to “send it to Apple”. What the heck did the geek squad do with my phone for 4 hours!? I wasted an entire Saturday and still have a broken phone. Very upset and will never use geek squad again - will go straight to Apple next time (even if it takes longer)

I recently got a new stove delivered. The delivery guys were friendly. I asked the guys to show me the stove worked correctly after installation and they did. My issue is they damaged the tile on my kitchen floor in two spots from sliding the stove around. I didn't notice it until after they left. It's hard to see the spots but when i walked near the stove, I can feel the bumps on my feet like i was stepping on dirt or food. I keep my floors very clean so i inspected the area and the tops of the tiles were scrapped off which is what i feel under my feet in those spots. Now I'm going to spend more money to fix my floor. Very disappointed and I will only shop in-store and no longer have appliances delivered/installed from here.

Adding to this review — don’t bother wasting your time with their “customer service” either - they don’t acknowledge or apologize for mistake, you have no idea if actual store is being held accountable because you can’t actually talk to a person in this country, and their idea of a solution is to sell you a tv from the same store which proved in first place it is incompetent. We are down in the negative stars going — I advise everyone — go to walmart or Sam’s club instead — you talk to actual people in store and know you are heard when they mess up. Best Buy does nothing.
Original review
If I could zero stars I would. The store completely messed up and you can’t speak to an actual person in the store. I ordered a tv — waited for it to come in. Went to pick it up, it was my fault it would not fit in vehicle. I saw the tv. Called the same day to have it changed to delivery. This was Sunday and delivery was confirmed for Friday, received confirmation time on Thursday evening. I work and had to make arrangements to have someone be there or take off work. They called morning of delivery and said it was not in yet — I literally saw the TV on Sunday and explained that. They tried to offer a different model — cheaper one — I said no, my tv was there. They called back and said they could not find it. I can not contact an actual store manager and I have yet to receive an apology. Do not order anything from this store — they are disorganized, will lie to you, AND WILL TRY TO BAIT AND SWITCH YOU. I’ve had better service at Walmart — at least you can talk to the store manager and not some customer service rep in a call center in India who tells you — this stuff doesn’t happen — to which I said — if the offer another model it obviously does happen all the time. I recommend going to Walmart instead. 0 stars

Can we go negative? Doesnt honor what they sell. They never scanned my item now i gotta spend hours doing the leg work to get what i paid for. Runaround! How about you fix it since you messed it up. Damn onus isnt on me. Manager wont talk to me, admits its thier mistake but i gotta contact manufacturer. If i buy batteries and they dont work should i go find the energizer bunny or the store i got it from. Brick and mortar needs to go. No point in this anymore. EDIT:UPDATE: my wife went in and got it fixed up less 1 minute. Just took a real employee. Who CONFIRMED they scanned the wrong item twice and should have bounced back bad to rescan. But old boys couldnt be bothered to even scan my item when i went in. Just told me some bs. Even admitted thats what they did but wouldnt even lift a finger to scan it to see. It has a damn serial number and went into a database. Act like i stole it. Appreciate you maam for being knowledgable and you should be the manager. Still leaving 1 star since this has been hours of delays, multiple phone calls back forth, because nobody wanted to anything but pass the buck. Never again! Mark my words!

I purchased a blue tooth speaker at the Best Buy in Altoona. I was waited on by an employee named Nate, according to his nametag. He was very knowledgeable and personable and walked me through my options. I was on my way home some 130 miles away when I thought of another question to ask him. I dialed the number on the receipt. Instead of reaching the store I ended up at a central network. I was placed on hold and various forms of music for over 8 minutes. When the attendant picked up, the line he had a poor command of the English language. We were able to communicate to the point where I asked to be connected to the Altoona store so that I could speak with Nate. I was told he could not do that. I said you’ve got to kidding me. There must be a way for me to connect with the store instead of driving some 40 miles back. He said there wasn’t. My response was, tell your bosses that I have bought 100s of TVs for my various small hotels. From now on my purchases will be at club stores or Amazon. If your company doesn’t have enough faith that your employees are able to speak to a customer on the phone when they are able to do so at the store, then I don’t need to do business with your company.

Disappointing customer service. I was a TotalTech member for years and had been buying all of my electronics from them, but I will no longer be shopping here or at any BestBuy.

Always over priced. I cannot figure out how they stay in business. The relentless customer service feels more like high pressure sales techniques than genuine caring about what you may need.

I called Best Buy to speak with someone and got someone who doesn’t speak clear English. What the hell happened to being able to speak to someone at the store. It pisses me off when companies do this and I get so damn frustrated because what I said I needed, the person replied back not saying exactly what I needed and asking me a million questions. I hate this so much. Best Buy, put it back to the way it was where customers can get a hold of someone in the store so they can ask and get the answers they need to the questions they have. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Try to get through to customer service is ridiculous! You pay top dollar for Bose and through Best Buy! No wonder Amazon is taking over the world!
