Lakemont Park is a classic hometown attraction and a great park for events of all sizes. It is a diverse space, full and offering a lot to guests, with amazing green spaces, stages, and pavilions. Park features include two 18-hole mini-golf courses, four batting cages, basketball and sand volleyball courts, an updated playground, and over-sized yard games. The park has received love and an update, transforming it into an amazing place. It is a great family activity destination. Seasonal events like Lights On The Lake are very nice, with hundreds of cars lining up, making it a great thing to do for Christmas. The park also features a neat little haunted attraction that is family friendly, laid back, and fun for the littles. The park deserves support as a gem. It contains classic wooden roller coasters that provide fun drops, good laterals, and awesome airtime. While some areas may need attention, the grass is well mowed and there are tons of open fields. The community is being listened to, with plans investigating additions like a disc golf course, pickleball courts, a gaga ball arena, and an off-leash dog park. It is a great place for locals and visitors alike.
