I was just in Lowes Altoona where the workers who are supposed to help you find items when you're struggling, treated me like trash. For thirty minutes and young, short lady refused to help me, wasting time trying do sales by pushing a woman to buy a Whirlpool dishwasher instead of Samsung. Three other workers, men, ignored or lied that they were getting me help. Not sure whether it was my African accent or the lower cost item, a water filter, but they let me leave without purchasing the item. Now, it's Amazon or Home Depot I'll try. Terrible customer help at Lowes, guys.

Lowes has you by the short and curlys. Yeah, they've got materials, but they also make way too much money on the public... for instance...I had bought a container of 100 plumbing clamps for 53 dollars at lowes thank God I had a few days b4 I needed them because I had 100 of the exact same clamps dropped off on my porch from ebay or Amazon don't remember which but the cost delivered was 18 dollars...I returned the over priced ones i got there..that's only 1 example. I've checked outlets, single gang boxes, pex Pipe, the list goes on and on, and lowes charges double, yes, double the cost on their goods. I love supporting any business that employs folks, but that is kinda ridiculous. The bottom line is lowes is a mega corporation that the upper executives only care about more more more freaking money.. but like I said, they've got you by the nads because they have what you need on hand, and you're gonna pay out the wazoo to get it... the orange box store is exactly the same, so it's both. If you have time, order online.

Waited at the Millwork desk for about 10 minutes, after two requests for assistance. I decided to leave.

I prefer Lowes for my building supplies because I like their varied choices. I also appreciate the fact that they offer military discounts. I do not advise the use of their credit card because the interest rates are sky high !

Good product, staff is friendly, but the store is understaffed so customers have long wait times

Disappointing customer service. I. Altoona, Pa. Went there to shop for Flex tools. Of course the tools are locked in the case. When I asked a floor associate to get Flex 3/8 stapler for me ($129). I was told I wasn't allowed to touch it and that it must be hand delivered to the cashier. When I question the cashier about this she said, "this is our policy". While also ignoring my questions on why the box was open not sealed or why it was written all over. She proceeded to scam this item that was $279 which I informed her was not right. My only option being to walk back over and ask an employee to find the right tool in which I must purchase blindly. If your store is so unsafe that I can't touch a tool in the box while standing infront of your employee. I think it's not safe for me to shop inside there. If that's the case then I might as well just order from Amazon or Ohio Power Tool

But that’s that you can’t get somebody on the phone to help you with their credit card is completely ridiculous. Not to mention the response that they give you.

Always helpful! I needed paint for a shelf that I'm trying to cutify it. They had enough options for me to choose from. I think I'm going to love the paint job!

I like Lowe's but I can't get on the website to look things up without putting in my zip code which then takes forever to load onto my phone. It makes me use home depot more because it is more user friendly.

I'll never go back. Last month we wanted to order carpet.. they couldn't find anyone to help. Today I had 4 gallons of paint, and I stood and watched 3 employees ignore me while continuing to have a full out conversation.. don't worry home depot helped with carpet last month and paint today. I'll continue to take my business to them..
