  Staff is more than useless when it comes to knowing anything about where their products are located. I had to ask four staff members where the coconut 🥥 water is located. I gave up and was able to locate it myself. Nowhere near were I was directed to look. I heard a manager walking by telling the staff members that corporate is coming and to not be on their phones and make sure they are smiling and saying hi to their customers! My question is why isn’t this a daily practice? Is Martins paying you to socialize and tweet? Or are you there to help service the customers? With the tone of the conversation I would say it’s not the norm and they act on their “best behavior” when they know someone will be watching and criticizing their actions. Management should be ashamed of themselves for this action. Instead lead by example, hold people accountable and when it’s warranted praise them in public. But this just for the next two hours pretend to be a good employee is the very reason people are turning to online shopping or curb side pickups! People are tired of the two faced lack of care people are getting paid to do. Not to mention the “fresh” fruits and vegetables is something to laugh at! Martins you need to do better.

  The people who work in this store are pleasant and helpful. The produce is fine. Some of the other locations of this store have greater variety in their stock, but this is a decent small town grocery store.

  We were in town for a horse show at a nearby school. We stopped in for a few things. The store was very clean, but the staff were absolutely awful. Specifically, the older gentleman who came out to yell at me and my daughter for doing the self checkout wrong. He should absolutely not be in customer service. I was disgusted, to say the least.

  I placed an online order for pickup, and there were some glitches for substitutions/pricing for some deals they were currently having. Veronica, the front end supervisor, went above and beyond to assist in a timely manner. She helped explain some online ordering for me and was exceptionally kind and caring. Definitely will be placing more online orders with them! If you have any questions or concerns, I HIGHLY recommend speaking with Veronica!

  The store is nice and clean, however a vast majority of the food on the shelf is expired. I found some things that expired more than two years ago. That's fine, if the prices reflect that, but i don't want to buy something full price if it expired long ago. Look at some random items in the store from time to time and you can find a lot of expired things. I quit going to this store after I bought too many expired things over the years that i went to this store. I went back to the store today after almost a year, and the first thing I picked up expired more than a year ago. I'm sure it'd still be okay, but again, I don't want to pay full price for something old. I used to go here a lot as the location is convenient, but I'd rather drive further to get fresh food at a better store. It's not a bad store, but you really have to look at the dates before buying anything. If it's a discount food store, that's fine. But again, it's not. I'm probably never going to shop here again unless it vastly improves. I'd look elsewhere for groceries if you desire new/fresher food.

  Had 1/2 sheet cake made for pickup. The cake was uneven, the icing wasn't even a 1/8 inch thick, was dry. Greatly disappointed. I payed $33 dollars for a poorly made cake
