as far as gluten free goes, they have glutenburg, darma, and redbridge, so not the best selection, employees usually dont offer me help carrying my case of beer to the car, they dont give you the case price if they are short a four pack, i recommend going to beer world in duncansville, its worth the drive, they have a huge gluten free selection, they give you the case price if they are short a pack, and they always carry my cases to the counter and to my car without me even having to ask.

Literally got the best selection in Altoona. If they don't have it, no one else will. Additionally, the only place in Altoona where if you buy something that isn't traditional domestic it won't go skunked in a week like all the grocery stores

I selected some great beer from an expansive inventory. I was in the process of paying for my purchase with a credit card and was informed that there would be an up charge for card usage (luckily, I had cash). This is surprising, only due to the fact, that merchants are made fully aware, that they will absorb the interchange fee as a condition of doing business with credit card companies. This is a deceptive business practice (expecting customers to pay for the the fee, you agreed upon with said credit card companies), that catches paying customers off guard at the register. Advice: come clean with your business practices and just post a sign in the window. Stating, "we only accept cashdebit cards." This will eliminate all cutomer confusion and our being extorted at the register. Good luck.

I liked this place. Good selection of craft beer and helpful staff. I would stop in to fill the fridge when I am in the area. I selected quite a few 4 packs and had them rung up. I handed my credit card over to pay and was informed there would be a 3%fee to use the credit card. Luckily my wife had enough cash otherwise all the beer we picked out would have had to been put back on the shelves. In todays market the use of credit cards is common and I find it odd that a business would find it necessary to inconvenience customers. There are other beer distributor's that I will now be looking into which I had not thought of until this credit card policy was put into place.

Went to this place tonight to look for a Fall Pumpkin beer my brother in law wanted me to pick up for him. The employee told me the beer I wanted is no longer in production and that they were bought out by Sam Adams. He did recommend an alternative so I got that one. Both employees were knowledgeable and eager to help. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for those harder to find beers that major grocers don't normally carry. This place had a huge selection.
