Rite Aid on Chestnut is a joke. Don’t ever get your prescriptions here! I repeat! DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! Pharmacy staff is disgustingly rude and grossly incompetent. Just look at the amount of 1 STAR reviews - - that should tell you everything you need to know. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Staff is always friendly. Store is exceptionally clean. Love the seasonal items. Two for one vitamins is a real $ saver! Top notch Pharmacists and staff!!!

Prescription refills should be ready the day off that morning. It is automatic. So what's the issue then it's employees and I have seen more than 2 reviews upset about this and rite aide mg will reply with sorry. How has this not been resolved. This store needs to be checked on maybe it's a staffing issue, maybe it's one employee who is miserable. Go fix this issue please.

I recently went to Rite Aid to pick up a phone-in refill for my dog's seizure medication, which is crucial for managing her condition. I arrived three hours after the store opened, only to be told by the pharmacist that they hadn't listened to any call-ins from the night before. Unfortunately, I had to return to work, so I couldn't wait around.
My wife called again three hours later, and still, the call-ins hadn't been checked. Because of this delay, my dog, Luna, ended up having a seizure before we could get her medication. We were finally able to pick it up after the fact, and we were given a coupon—but that doesn’t fix the damage already done.
A coupon doesn't make up for the stress and health risk caused by their lack of urgency. If you're looking for a pharmacy you can trust in urgent situations, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I won't be trusting this location with anything important in the future.

The pharmacy closed when they want to leave early and say life happens when you complain so I will be complaining further the worst workers in pharmacy wouldn't give one star but had to go warn others of how poor they treat ppl who need life sustaining medications

Do not ever come hear. They are all absolutely disgustingly rude. After giving out the wrong medication no one wanted to fix their mistake. Yelled at a customer that's considered elderly. Why be so ignorant to your elders? They wanted my family to pay out of pocket for the right medication after giving the wrong kind out! I've never heard such unprofessionaism in my entire life. This person could have died without that medication and they didn't care AT ALL. Proceeded to argue over the counter. Yelling in front of a store full of people. Am I at Rite aid or McDonald's here?

COUNT YOUR PILLS AT THE COUNTER AND HAVE THEM WATCH.
This locations pharmacy shorts me every 3 months when I get my prescription. I have to call before I go pick it up. And it's still shorted. It's been like this since I moved here.
Also they're so rude. Only pros is it's still better than CVS. But they told me to change pharmacy's. So I'm short medication, even though I call to make sure there is 4 packs, they say yes. And every single time they lied to me, or cannot count. Oh and they told me find a new pharmacy?? So, they sound like they don't have confidence in themselves. AND MY PRESCRIPTION SAYS 4 PACKS, it got so bad when I had to renew my prescription I told my doctor to make sure that's written down. I've called them and asked them to put a note

Had prescription called in 10am. Went to pick up 5pm. Not ready come back 7 pm. Came back 7 pm. They asked me to have a seat to fill the script. Lol unbelievablely poor service.
