The male pharmacist here who ever he was at evening shift is the worst. He does not know how to check insurance for coverage correctly, explains Wrong things about medication. Very unprofessional.

I cannot stand this location of CVS. I understand not having medication in stock, but the lack of friendliness and customer service really sends me over the edge. I went to pick up my birth control as I normally do once a month and when I got home it was not the same name of medication I usually receive (I've been taking this brand name for over 3 years) so, understandably I call to see why and to my surprise it was not the normal 25-30 minute wait on the phone I usually get. A woman answers the phone with a tone already and trying to understand they are overwhelmed I put that aside, however, she continued to treat me like I was stupid and in the middle of saying goodbye and to tell her to have a great day she hung up on me without a word. I feel like it should have been mentioned while picking up the medication that it was in fact out of stock and it would not be the same name or look the same as my other medication. I also feel like they need to do way better with how they respond or act towards their customers because it was absolutely ridiculous. I have not had one good experience at this CVS. DONT BOTHER.

Re: COVID 19 testing:\\nAvoid this CVS pharmacy at all costs! If you are to believe the CVS corporate website and THINK you are scheduling a COVID test for ANY date...You will drive there, (cannot reach anyone on the phone..), and find out that they are NOT giving any COVID tests and have not done so in 2 weeks! Such a waste of time!\\nLater, I checked the CVS corporate website that same evening and this same CVS store at 272 East Butler Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002 is STILL \\\"taking reservations\\\" for COVID testing at this time! (not really....) So consumer beware! This CVS store is currently NOT a COVID - 19 Testing Site, even though the CVS corporate website says it is.\\n\\nON a larger note.....This is the 2nd time in 2 days that this has happened at 2 different CVS pharmacy locations in the area, when making prior reservations at the CVS website....when I am trying to get a COVID test done for travel.\\nCVS.....what has happened to you???\\nI will go elsewhere.

Denise is very disrespectful. Other than that, great CVS. Just had a bad experience with this employee!

I don't like CVS pharmacy as a whole but my parents get their meds there because it is close by. Lately I've had to pick up meds for them and they either don't have it, need authorization or claim they are not covered by insurance. They are rude, don't take the time and point out that they are closing soon as if to tell me to come back when they are opened. I've had to return multiple times for the same meds not being ready. When I get there they hand me refills that I did not request so I have to tell them I don't need it to put it back. One unexpected refill was in an order from the hospital upon discharge of many different medications. This caused overdosing in a drug that was a new script and the one refilled. This caused my mom's blood sugar to drop too low. Luckily after 2 days of overdosing we realized this and discontinued the duplicate medication. We have told them not to auto refill anymore. Paying for prescriptions we don't need. I also had similar experience with my local CVS in SKIPPACK. The scripts are never ready when you get there even though I reordered in the morning and said I would pick up at 6. They tell me I have to wait. I asked why aren't they ready when I ordered them in the morning. She said they were very busy all day. This scenario has happened over and over that I finally switched to SKIPPACK Pharmacy.

We went here for a COVID test scheduled 2 days prior. It was canceled while we were en route to this location. The pharmacist said they didn't have staff and walked away. There was no apology or assistance in finding a solution. As we left the counter, they then muttered something under their breath and started laughing. Very unprofessional.

Do not go to To this pharmacy . the pharmacy techs are the worst. They are rude, very unhelpful, they do not know what they are going there. Stay away! The worst pharmacy I have been to ever.

It seems that this crew is eternally put upon and over worked. But don't blame the CUSTOMER. The runners are horribly nasty and rude. I was once yelled at for getting too close when I leaned in to reach the credit card screen. You can't put your card in from 6' away! Today 3 customers in a row had screwed up prescriptions. The pharmacist actually accused me of cancelling my own prescriptions and then having him remake them. Like I'm going to waste 30 minutes trolling a pharmacist. Everyone gets it... being in the service industry "sucks". But people PAY for service. If you aren't willing to do the job well with a courteous attitude get a different job. CVS corp DNGAF and the local independents are all going out of business. So this is what we get.

DO NOT GET A COVID TEST HERE! Scheduled my appointment for 12 on Monday and waited TWO HOURS to get tested. This would be understandable if it was insanely busy, but there were only four cars in front of me. The whole process was extremely slow and set back my whole day. Got my results back quickly and the test was fine but the wait was ridiculous. I would recommend going to another CVS so you don't have to wait as long.

So, just trying to stay healthy and ride my bike instead of driving. Pull up to the drive in window to be very rudely told they cannot wait on someone on a bike. So u park and lock my bike only to be told the prescription is not ready an hour after the time it was supposed to be done. And none of this was related with a smile or a kind word.

This is hands down one of the busiest CVS pharmacies superstores in the area and yet the pharmacutical staff countinue to ALWAYS remain professional, friendly, caring and dilligently at work. I am always very happy with all the help I receive both over the phone and in store! I will always visit this specific CVS because I believe the technitions will always try to fufill all of the individual customers wishes and always provide that extra mile for them (like they have for my family and I) I am extremely grateful for a local pharmacy like CVS Ambler that I can count on as truthful and reliable establishment for medical care and necessities. I dont understand the low ratings, I do not agree with them. This is an A+ organization and staff.

The rudest pharmacy technicians! I will never use this pharmacy again and honestly that is probably the goal for the lazy technicians they have staffed here.
