Upper Dublin Sports Center is a popular facility known for its many courts, including indoor, outdoor, hard, and har-tru surfaces. It offers a variety of activities such as tennis and pickleball, with lessons and clinics provided by friendly, knowledgeable staff and coaches. The center is especially appreciated for its friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to meet great people while playing matches or participating in tournaments, which are described as fun, flexible, and challenging. The center's location is convenient and well-suited for USTA matches, making it a favorite for local players. Many visitors enjoy the facility, though some note that the interior looks outdated, resembling a place from the 1970s, and that the courts, particularly the outdoor clay, could use some maintenance work. The indoor courts can become very hot, feeling like a sauna during the summer, and some areas, like the men's restrooms and locker rooms, are in poor condition with issues such as leaks and outdated facilities. Despite these maintenance concerns, the staff remains friendly and helpful, and the center continues to stay open during challenging times, including the pandemic. Overall, Upper Dublin Sports Center is highly valued for its great staff, excellent programs, and welcoming environment, making it a preferred spot for tennis and pickleball enthusiasts of all levels.
