Our dog Betty is a female German Shepherd who is in the twilight of her life. She was bleeding profusely. Our wonderful vet Dt.G managed to calm us down and really take time figuring out what was wrong with our 10 year old girl. Diagnostic skills when you are dealing with a senior with multiple problems isn’t easy. Dr.G made it seem easy and thankfully Betty seems to me on the mend. The tech team was polite and our inquiries via text were returned in a timely manner.

We were able to get in on the day we called. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything in details and all the staff from the tech to front desk were super friendly. Thanks for taking care of our kitty.

I just took my dog, George, here for his first visit since moving to the area. We’d tried out one other vet since moving, but had been unsuccessful in getting blood draws or vaccines after two different visits due to George’s anxiety. We saw Dr. Meyer, and he was SO good with George. We were able to get an exam, blood draw, and shots, and was the most positive vet experience George has had to date. Will definitely be coming back.

Dr. McMartin explained all of my options in detail for keeping my cat healthy. Both she and Laura, her assistant, were very gentle with him, even though my usually friendly cat was hissing during the exam. I also appreciated receiving a list of all costs upfront for any possible services for that day and in the future. The office staff took time to explain the details of my billing. All in all a great experience.

Great staff, I was seen on time, everything was explained well, my communication online prior to the appointment was seamless, no wonder Ardmore Animal Hospital is widely recommended on local community FB groups!

Dr. Caitlin Weiskopf is extremely caring, superbly competent (Penn Veterinary graduate), and she is on top of everything. She has a heart of gold. You and your furry friends will be in good hands!

I've been going to this vet for two years and recently made the decision to move practices. The service is OK. I feel like I get a different experience based on what vet I see. Dr. Peters who is no longer with the practice was the main reason we stayed so long. Unfortunately, staff is just not friendly. Most encounters I've gotten (phone call/ in-person) the staff seems annoyed or I get some sort of attitude. One experience I had while waiting in the lobby, the receptionist was on the phone with a customer and as soon as she hung up the phone, she immediately made fun of the customer on the other line and made them out to be stupid. For how much money I spend at the vet, I'd at least like a pleasant experience.

Horrible! The guy at the front was the only nice one there. The one blonde women with glasses in the front had zero compassion or understanding. I live in the area and my 2 year old dog had a massive tick in his ear. It was my first time dealing with something like this and I did not want to cause an infection. I wanted to be safe rather than sorry. I decided to take him here, we came in they turned us down. They said it was illegal for them to take my dog to their hospital because he wasn’t a patient. I am sorry, is this a hospital??? I checked the website they said they do take new pets as patients. I could have easily filled out a form and made him a patient here. They told us to leave and told us to go someplace else. That women had zero respect, or kindness. How can someone like that work for an animal hospital. Let alone any hospital! She heard us talking in another language and started saying it was illegal to bring my dog in. Maybe since we spoke a different language she didn’t want to take us in? Discriminating based on someone’s language is unacceptable especially at a place like this. Why does it matter if I am from the area! Yes I am from the area why would I come here if I live far??? Every other place near Gladwyne was closed so I looked for other places. Afterwards, I remembered my friend also brought his dog here. His dog had a bad reaction to the shots that were given and almost died! He called in and said my dog isn’t feeling well he’s having a bad reaction. Her response “sorry, we close at 8 pm”. It was 7:50 pm…. They are responsible to take dogs in because they are an animal hospital especially if they administer shots that a dog had a bad reaction to. If you care for your pets and love them do not bring them here. That women needs to be fired ASAP! I don’t care how long she’s worked here for, clearly she shouldn’t because she is unprofessional. This place will lose patients because of staff like her.

I never been to this Vet before. My poor cat boy had a neurologic event overnight that was devastating. I called them first thing this morning and they took him right in, no questions asked. He went very peacefully this morning and everyone was so sweet, patient, and respectful. I felt so warm and comforted there especially under such circumstances. I am lucky to have found this wonderful animal hospital this morning and I will be coming back. I am so grateful to them for making my sweet boys last moments comforting. ❤️

We have been taking our cats to Ardmore Animal Hospital for about 25 years. I guess that says a lot by itself. Working with Dr Peters for a while, and then Dr Bianco for a much longer time until he retired was absolutely wonderful. And now Dr. Seelaus is absolutely amazing. They call her the Cat Whisperer and it is absolutely true. The way she handles and communicates with our cats is close to unbelievable. Our cats are very scared about going to the vet, and act out a bit, until she is close or puts her hands on them when they are completely calm. Her "only cat" Wednesdays are a fantastic idea and I'm sure this helps a lot of cats to stay calm not having any dogs around at all. We were very concerned when Dr Bianco retired because we couldn't imagine anybody who could take his place. We were so glad to be wrong. We will continue to be customers and take the best possible care of our animals at Ardmore Animal Hospital.

I've been taking my cats to Ardmore Animal Hospital for literally decades. Took my Siberian cat for a check-up and to have the doc look at a skin condition. (the cat's, not mine) Love the friendliness of the staff, the gentleness of the tech, the thoroughness of the exam and full explanation of what to do. There's something really wonderful about seeing how much your vet loves animals reflected in the way they interact with your pet. I simply would not trust my beloved feline to any other practice.
