Don't do title transfers anymore and office was closed at 10:15am on a Thursday. Maybe update your signs and hours so you don't waste people's time.

Just updated the hours to 10a - 2p, as is posted in their window. It's appointment only after that. Hopefully that will save folks a wasted trip like mine. I called from their storefront to ask if they will be coming in for an appt this evenings and she asked what I needed. I told her I just needed a notary, and she said no she won't come in for that.
Save yourself the time and just go 2 miles down the road to Havertown Auto Tags instead.

Last year May 4, 2025 went to Best Paoli to have title transferred to my partner. Paid the transfer fees $180 . Never received the title . Contacted Penn Dot. Penn dot did not receive the paperwork, My title is gone. Contacted ‘Chris’ at the Ardmore location. He promised to help. Emailed the receipts and documentation . He did nothing. Called several times does not pickup. Their response is shameful for a company that’s been here for thirty years years. Never again. I want my $ back.

BEWARE! In Feb 2024, I purchased a used car from a seller in NJ. I used this business to get the title transferred from NJ to PA as well as PA registration ($261 total). They issued me a PA license plate and temp registration. They kept the NJ car title and stated I would receive the new PA title within the next 3 months. 14 MONTHS LATER, I have not received ANY of the documentation I paid for. I have tried calling and emailing the business multiple times but have received no response. I called PennDOT today to see if there is any record of the license plate or VIN in the PA system and they confirmed there is nothing, which we assume means no paperwork had ever been filed or processed by their staff. The car currently has tags that are not in any way registered within the PennDOT system.

If you’re reading this review it is likely too late for you but I can’t, in good conscience, not leave one for anybody who may be checking.
This place will probably shut down very soon and if you ever want to receive what you’re paying for, go down the road a little ways more. Using their service has nearly got my car towed by the police and required me to use a lawyer to take over getting my paperwork from these people; 11 months later I still do not have my title.
My money was never handed over to the state. And I was lied to many times as I was told by the police and other agencies.

The men was unprofessional, rude and decided to close early yelling told people to have stuff out.. Rushed me rudely after I wanted a bunch of stuff noterized. I just got a will done. Unprofessional and rude. Never going back.

BEWARE! This company cashes your checks and then will never process your tag work and ignore your calls , I am still waiting on 4 pieces starting back in October that my customers and banks have not recieved tags and titles, they should be shut down.

I'm writing this because I feel bad for all the people I see walk away empty handed during business hours. I live by this business, and they haven't kept regular hours for the last few months. I've seen no shortage of people try to get in the door, peer in, check their phone, check the hours on the door, then walk away shaking their head. From recent reviews it seems they still do some business, but not always during posted hours. Call ahead if you plan on using them for your tags. I hope this keeps some people from wasting their trip.

I went in this afternoon for notary services. I was already having a challenging day and the female clerk was so kind. Services have been reasonably priced, variety of products/services, and a convenient location.
