We had a call scheduled for 1230 but no one reached out to us (despite the email saying we would be contacted).
When we reached out to the company, they let us know that we will be called between 1230 and 230.
After hanging up, we received a text saying that they missed our appointment, contradicting the info given to us by the company when we called.
We followed up again and were told that we needed to come into the office (but the meeting was scheduled to be over the phone).
Finally, when we spoke to the rep on the phone, they had another client in the office. This was a huge breach of client confidentiality.
The call was rushed, and we had to schedule another appointment just to get our questions answered.

Excellent service. The 'receptionist' made me feel welcome and comfortable. My tax advisor works hard to find every deduction, and to assure accuracy of my return. Ample parking nearby.

price is too high, experts are not really experts in taxes, communication was not good and tax preparation was delayed.

Patti was very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. She reminded us of deductions we were eligible for but had forgotten. I would highly recommend her and Block Advisors and will utilize them again next year.

Michelle Martin (Ardmore office) was able to complete our tax returns with a really tight timeframe. She was wonderful to work with - friendly, knowledgable, and quick to respond to all our questions via email. No question, Michelle will be our go to for our 2023 taxes!

I've had the worst business/services experience at the Ardmore H&R Block in submitting my tax returns. I've had to go back to he office 5 times to have them re-correct my taxes since they keep making mistakes & I've been having to pay thousands of dollars. No one answers their phone & emails when I try to schedule a time to connect so I can get the documents corrected. I've also called the 1800 # on H&R Blocks website to schedule a call with another Tax Advisor at another facility and they won't even call back. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau & requesting that they repay me back.

And yet the cost has become prohibitive. Block also is giving customers a bums rush. It seemed asked too many questions. Presume the service cost goes up with any twist... Also we noticed the personnel turnover? Will they standup with you if you're in an audit? Hopefully it won't matter.

If you go to the Ardmore PA office, I would highly suggest you request the services of Cynthia DeStefano. She is an excellent tax professional and makes the process very simple and straightforward. She works fast and does an amazing job. I'd highly recommend her to anyone.Although I do think the Block Advisors service is a little pricey, Cynthia makes it worthwhile. 100% satisfied with her work.

J Jeffries the person who prepared my taxes was excellent.Another tax preparer was rude and had a problem with me as a customer needing to wait to be picked up after my service.The lobby was empty, I just spent $175 in your business,what's your problem?

My tax advisor was great. The receptionist was good until one of the tax advisors sent her to do their "dirty work."After having my taxes prepared and spending $175, I was waiting to be picked up. I guess my ride didn't get there fast enough. Someone "whispers" to the receptionist "she's still there?" Yes, I was still there in an empty lobby with 32 degrees outside, so what?So after receiving the prompt from whoever, the receptionist comes over to me and repeats my appointment details (person and time, the appointment was already over.) I said yes, that was my appointment and she didn't say anything else.It was harmful to them for me to wait for my ride how?I left when my ride got there (my car was at the dealership down the street getting inspection).Don't unnecessarily rude for no reason.
