Called CVS Ardmore PA pharmacy to cancel a prescription that has been pending for over a month - they ordered and it hasn't come in. (Found another pharmacy where med was in stock.) On hold for over 1/2 hour listening to music and repeated message to download there app. (*I don't download apps.) Gave up and called the manager who advised he had nothing to do with the pharmacy but was kind enuff to walk back with phone in hand to advise them I was on hold. After 5 minutes, I was cut off. Never got to tell them to cancel the RX. Don't care.; They don't care for customer. I don't care for them. Have been with CVS Ardmore for 20 years -0-0 I'm done now. Switching pharmacies.

I had the pleasure of watching an employee service the customers on 2 registers due to the long line in the pharmacy dept. Her name was Tamisha and she handled each customer in a very courteous manner and with a pleasant greeting. I was amazed at how she she never became frustrated but continued to be professional in a very hectic atmosphere. Kudos to you CVS

Customer service from the Pharmacy has really gone down. Each time I've had to make a inquiry, pharmacy staff is rude and abrupt. Customers understand being busy. However, rudeness is unacceptable. Transferring all scripts somewhere else. Don't waste your time going there.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. While the people who work here are nice, they are so grossly understaffed that all function ceases to be.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Do not waste your time trying to get a prescription. I have been going here for years and it has gone downhill in the last year. They are inefficient, constantly fail to fill prescriptions, claim they have not received prescriptions that doctors confirm were called in, have excessively long wait times, never seem to care or acknowledge mistakes... the list goes on and on. If you're looking for a pharmacy, look elsewhere. To end on a positive note, the rest of the store is fine, generally well stocked and they have friendly cashiers.

The people who work there are very attentive but definitely during 2022 use four or five times the bathroom for customers is terrible they don't clean it to the point of photos.

i was so happy this location opened! The staff have always been welcoming and helpful. There are times they are slammed and clearly are overwhelmed, and it would be helpful if people remembered that so they could serve everybody with a smile.

Just no. The store is fine. But for the love of all that is good In this world, stay away from this pharmacy. They NEVER have what they say is ready, they are impatient, rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. They make you feel like you are unprepared or confused, which is not ever truly the case. I changed to another pharmacy, but the horror stays with me.

The CVS pharmacy in Ardmore, PA is a constant headache. The fact that I walk there always raises the steaks. The driveway is so small and busy a collision is almost guaranteed anyway. My PCP even says everyone complains about them. I feel like it is more a loose collection of drug enthusiasts than a professional medical establishment. Arguments are a constant, never any supply, while place shuts down for what is supposed to be a half hour, for lunch, but is more like an hour in middle of day. No HIPPA laws apply, new employees constantly - so they are always lacking proficiency. New pharmacist almost every time I'm there. The only standing directive must be, 'The customer is always wrong, no matter what their evidence, their evidence is always circumstantial anyway.'

The pharmacy never answers the phone. I called 4 times and then had to go in just to transfer a prescription. Very unprofessional. They should assign someone just to answer phones.

This is the pharmacy I use when I'm filling perceptions for myself or anyone in my immediate family. Recently it has fallen off quite a bit. There is now a near 100% chance you will be waiting in line to pick up your perception. Often by the time I reach the front of the line (usually 20 minutes) my perception is still not filled despite the fact that my doctor called in the prescription hours earlier. This place just always seems to be swamped. I did overhear someone from behind the counter defend the length of time everything now takes citing the fact that "no one wants to work anymore" however I think compensation for that very stressful and demanding job where nights and weekends are probably mandatory is probably not adequate. In addition CVS as a whole has a major pricing issue, they will not price match (even their own internet prices) which leads to some major price gauging. I do applaud them for banning the sale of tobacco products... That is a major step in the right direction! Parking here is a bit chaotic but mostly because everyone is always in a hurry. The L shaped lot has extra parking to the back left which is usually full of empty spaces.During Covid they didn't do the best jobs of organizing their lines for vaccines... On more than one occasion I've seen people wait in the vaccine line only to be told to go to the back of the prescription line and other times people waited in the perception line and was told "oh next time go right to the vaccine line". It was not clear or consistent. Hopefully they fix that!

Horrible pharmacy service for so many customers . No vaccine appointments kept ! Pharmacy closes early but has customers coming back for few days for their necessary medication! They need to close & start all over again ! Worst karma you ever but folks that had medically necessary meds they were outraged ! Don't answer phone either ! I've never heard a pharmacy being that rude either

I cannot emphasize enough how much this CVS frustrates me. There always seems to be a problem, no matter how straight-forward the prescription should be. Long wait times, prescriptions not ready for pickup, misunderstandings...I've never just gone there and left with the prescription without hassle. The other day I was told to wait "just a minute," so, without other instruction, I stayed at the counter. After 10 minutes, I asked for an update and was told it'd take about 30 min longer! Why hadn't they told me it'd take that long to begin with? Meanwhile, they had let me stand there at the counter, slowing down the line, rather than giving me any indication of what was going on. On another visit, there was some sort of problem with all the computers, and I learned from the guy in line next to me that he also ALWAYS has problems with this location. I'm planning to transfer locations ASAP--I dread picking up from this location, it's always so stressful. Meds should not be this stressful.

The pharmacy never has prescriptions ready at the promised time. I filled a prescription and was promised it at 2:45. It wasn't done at 5:30, and now I'll have to make an additional trip (with no guarantee that it will be ready if I wait another hour). This has happened multiple times and they blame being "busy." The general staff is friendly and helpful, but the prescription situation is ridiculous and frustrating.
