I had the pleasure of working with Jana Sweeney as my realtor during the journey of purchasing my first home for my family. We initially signed an agreement last year but were still uncertain about our desired location. When we picked the search back up in January of this year, Jana was ready to jump right back in with us.
Even though we were looking in an area outside of her usual footprint, Jana remained committed, enthusiastic, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to understand all of our unique needs and “quirky” requirements, and she never made us feel like we were asking too much.

After several months working with another realtor we realized in this tough real estate market we needed someone really sharp with a can-do attitude who was up to speed on real estate comps for the area, proactive, and genuine.
Our fantastic mortgage person recommended the Esther Cohen Eskin and Jessa Bernstein team at Compass and within about 2 weeks we were in contract! The most important thing about them is their personal commitment to the buyer. When looking at properties they left no stone unturned. When one was showing us properties, the other was behind the scenes gathering vital information. They talked to neighbors and HOA heads to get all our questions answered.
After the closing they had excellent recommendations for service persons, locksmiths and painters.
They looked out for OUR best interests and in the most cheerful and professional way. We HIGHLY recommend them and are so thankful they guided us seamlessly throughout this process.

I cannot recommend Jessa and Esther enough! As first-time homebuyers, my husband and I were unsure about how the home-buying process worked, but they made it easy and enjoyable. They worked their schedule around ours for showings and even took videos for my husband, who couldn’t be there in person. Their dedication truly stood out, and thanks to their hard work and collaboration, we found our dream home within a few weeks of looking and had an offer written and accepted shortly after.
They go above and beyond for their clients, and their exceptional service doesn’t stop after closing. It felt less like a transaction and more like being part of a team that was genuinely invested in our journey to homeownership. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new home!

I never thought I would be able to own my own home again. Esther and team were so incredible in helping turn a distant dream into the most incredible reality. My wife and I love Esther and Jessa, and they've made our first home purchase successful!Background for us: this was our first home purchase, and we were coming from out of state, with a rather rigid timeline we were trying to meet. This added complications to the process, but Esther and Jessa took on the challenge with aplomb.We first met them via a referral from a mortgage provider and I'm so glad we did. From early in the process they were quick to communicate, answer all the random questions we threw at them, provide helpful suggestions and referrals, and overall take the time to work us through the process. From getting us pointed in the right direction on good neighborhoods and price range guidance, through a whirlwind trip to house hunt, and on to a rather dramatic close (not their fault!), the J&E team were on our side.Their partnership with Compass was also a plus because of the way they can setup "collections" online and help you search, favorite, and comment on houses even from out of the area. Plus you could really tell the resources and expertise the whole team brought to the table.Bottom Line: I can't recommend them enough if you looking to buy in the Philadelphia area. They are on your side and will make sure you're successful!
