Hours: Based on customer reviews, Mavey Books is a very cool, local, and independent bookstore. It is a gem and a favorite local bookstore and community center. The owner and staff are the nicest, most knowledgeable, and kind people. They are very friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The store has a vast amount of books for a very small space, a beautiful selection of cards, and a fantastic selection of books. They also have human rights flags, pins, and stickers. The owner goes above and beyond to help customers, once offering her own umbrella. The store has a remarkable collection of one-of-a-kind, witty, and captivating titles. They have events going on all year round and the best local book clubs. Customers will return again and again.
