Mud Room Studio is a cozy and quirky creative environment for painting pottery. The studio offers a huge selection of ceramic pieces to choose from, including mugs, though some note the selection can be smaller than other shops. It is an affordable and fun experience, with pieces priced accordingly. The process is easy, with no reservations needed, and the atmosphere is very lax and open-ended. The ambience is great, with nice relaxing music, though it can get crammed and fairly loud when busy, especially during weekend or birthday parties. Weekday visits may be better for adults. Staff are super friendly, polite, and provide great service, helping with payment and answering questions. It is noted they are not always engaged with the artistic portion. The studio has plenty of paints and materials, though some reviews mention near-empty paints. The space itself is small. Customers can create their own dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe designs and return later to finish work. Overall, it is a pleasant, awesome, and fun place that many plan to return to, hoping to try mosaics or throwing clay.
Space was small, employee was not engaged, and a lot of the paints were near empty. I’ll explore other options in the future. Positive, was price.

My kids had so much fun painting ceramic pieces. I want to go back and make a mosaic. Polite staff and beautiful studio. Selection of pieces was smaller than other ships but overall a really affordable and fun experience.
