Although I enjoyed my experience here, I was disappointed after picking my items up. They wrote the name on the pottery then glossed over it and put it in the kiln, ruining the item. Also, lots of bubbles and dirt stains/other paint colors that weren't there when I left. Disappointed making items as gifts that now don't look so nice.

I am so disappointed in the business. My husband and I went last Saturday- got there at 3pm (website said it was open until 7am) only to find a hand written note on the door starting that they were “not taking new painters after 2:30pm.” I was shocked and upset. There was no notice on the website that they would be closing early. I guess this business is run by someone who is independently wealthy and doesn’t care if they alienate new clients. It was pompous and gross business practices. I DO NOT recommend this business and I will never go back again.

Space was small, employee was not engaged, and a lot of the paints were near empty. I’ll explore other options in the future. Positive, was price.

This place was awesome. It was a cozy and quirky creative environment that was fun to work in. Staff were super friendly and there was a HUGE selection of pottery pieces to choose from. A+, will definitely return.

My kids had so much fun painting ceramic pieces. I want to go back and make a mosaic. Polite staff and beautiful studio. Selection of pieces was smaller than other ships but overall a really affordable and fun experience.

First time visiting Ardmore and we decided to try and paint some pottery. Was an easy process, no reservations needed. Very lax and open-ended, so some instructions would be helpful for those that need some direction- maybe a laminated FAQ sheet or something posted to describe techniques. Pieces were priced accordingly, and there was plenty of paints and materials to go around. The staff were friendly, but only helped us with payment and answering questions, so I'm unsure if they're able to assist with the artistic portion. The main area could get crammed if you have the tables full of guests, and the birthday party happening while we were there was fairly loud. Didn't infringe on what we were painting, but I can imagine it getting even louder if the main area had been crowded too. Overall a pleasant experience, and we hope to come back and see what our next visit brings!

This. Place. Is. Awesome!! The ambience was great and we were able to chill out and paint with some nice relaxing music. Great service too they will help you with any questions you have, very friendly people. It'd be awesome to throw some clay here sometime! Thanks for getting our mugs fired in time for Christmas!!!

wish I could give it zero stars. they were closed during business hour. what made it worse was when i came at 5 on Thursday. they were already closed, when they were supposed to be closed at 7. there was a note on the door that said "reopens at 3pm" but it wasn't.

We went during business hours and they were closed. Pretty annoying, no mention on their website:

I really liked this place for a rainy day. We went there on a colder day (weekday) which was nice because apparently it is really busy on the weekend. But if you are an adult, you might have better success during the weekday. Parking is not really nearby but you can get parking about 10 minute walk away. You can pick mugs or other items and create your own dishwasher safe and microwave safe design. Nice activity and you can start and stop and restart when you return back.Update July 23: You guys are great. We were able to finish our art work and it was a blast.

Mud room has a great selection of pottery pieces and colors. My only few critiques were for the ladies who were at the cashier area. They did not welcome us in and were glued to their cell phones. They also didn’t show us they had stamps and other cool things. They were always on their phone and had a friend around and it felt like we bothered them when we had a question.
