I'm not sure what price complaints are about. I found a flawless Jos Banks tux (won't need a single alteration) for $60. On a whim I decided to look for formal shoes and they happened to be on half price sale. A pair of all-leather Italians that listed for $6-700 in stores were $5.00 (like new.) Maybe men's stuff is cheaper here?

Saw some cool items, but as other reviewers have said, this is NOT a thrift store by way of the prices.

It ain't much but it's a gem in its own right. I've visited a few times and always managed to find some pieces I love. I even found a small messenger bag that I take everywhere with me, and it only cost $4. Half of the store is clothing and the other half is accessories and home goods. While the variety in each section is a bit limited, you never know what you'll find. They also have a $1 clothing rack that's worth checking out. I found a few shirts I plan on upcycling for a fabric Pride flag. The people who work there are very nice and keep the store organized. I never felt like I was being monitored by them. As a bonus, they offer a 10% discount for students and other folks.

Not thift stores prices considering most of the items that I picked up today had been sitting there for 3 -7 months. Half of the items are on consignment.

I didn’t know they sold so many clothes! I always thought they sold mostly furniture. Love this thrift store.

I used to come here with my grandmother and volunteer behind the jewelry counter. It was the first "job" I ever had. A true treasure chest then and now.

I think this was a cute little place. But the prices were a little high and it’s understandable for the area.

I love everything here!! Super cute clothes and shoes. Very affordable too. They also have furniture and home goods. I've bought lots of things for my kitchen and art work.

Eclectic collection. The Dollar Wise Vintage Shop would be a better name. Many items are over priced for thrift, but it goes to a good cause. Be sure to take quarters for parking or use the 4 hr garage a few blocks away. This shop is on the edge of the historic district and there are other interesting shops and eats nearby.

Very rude staff. Entered NEAR closing time and was treated extremely poorly & rushed. Easily could've denied us entry if it was such a big deal but rather followed us around the store with a countdown. Do NOT recommend.

I Love This Place. Usually When You Walk Into A Store Your Focused On Shopping Well Here Shopping Comes Second; Due To The Best Staff You Can Find. You Are A Part Of The Penny Wise Family When You Walk In The Door. Such A Warm Hearted Friendly Place And Always A Good Time.

Wonderful shop with so much to offer! Went in to kill sometime and found a few clothes and items I loved. Prices were beyond reasonable and had to stop myself from buying too much.
