I’ve been coming to Salon 31 for at least 5 years now. All of the people who work here are incredibly kind. I almost want to gatekeep her, but Nichol is incredible at understanding and executing my nonsense ideas about what I want my blonde/bronde to look like. I feel like my service is always efficient and fairly priced.

I bring me and my daughters into see Susan and we love her. Our cuts are always personalized and exactly what we ask for - and she has been instrumental with my color consultation, which has made me so happy. My daughters appreciate the candidness about what works best for their hair type. They love their cuts, which are personalized to their hair and personality. I love that I can come with my family and feel like we are each given personal attention.

If you want to receive:
a friendly, personalized greeting upon arrival to the salon,
speak in depth with your stylist about your previous service before your appointment and
create a plan together for your current service,
have great conversations during your appointment and
walk out of the salon with exactly the color/cut/style that you had hoped for, and receive daily compliments about the health of your hair/color/cut/ style,
then SALON 31 IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. My family and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I had a great experience at Salon 31! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every stylist I met was friendly and professional. The whole team works well together and clearly care about the clients. I highly recommend!!

I have been going to Salon31 for the last 12 years and I wouldn’t go to any other salon! Steph is a wonderful stylist and colorist who truly cares about her clients. I highly recommend this salon.

I had to reschedule at the last minute because I was in the hospital ER. They had taken a $25 deposit they said would be kept if I missed the appointment. Never heard of a salon doing that, but ok? Then the day after I called them to reschedule they posted another charge of $45 to my card because of appointments they claimed I missed 2 YEARS AGO. I don't recall that, I don't recall ever hearing of them before, but I know it's illegal to just add an arbitrary amount to someone's card for a claim you never made to a customer at any time in the 2 years you claim passed, had already received a deposit, under a policy you admit wasn't in place at the time, and which you also admit you don't tell people about. Don't trust them. $60 for no service at all and entirely unilaterally is not okay. It violated contract law & consumer rights.

I have been going to Salon 31 for years! I won’t go anywhere else. My stylist, Steph, is amazing, as are the rest of the stylists and staff.

Everyone at the salon is great! Special shout outs to Mike who cuts my hair (and is always down for good conversation) and Jaime who washes my hair.
Highly recommended. The fact that it’s a well-priced (for the Main Line) is an added bonus.

I’ve been going here for 7+ years and love how my hair looks. Nichol does an amazing job on my color and cuts. I’ve brought my teen here when they wanted to chop their longer hair off. And the biggest show of trust from me, when I needed my long hair cut after brain surgery so it was more manageable they worked with me on the best and safest way to get it done so we were all comfortable with the process.

I've been going to Mike for a couple of years now. His short, edgy cuts are not only awesome on day one, but grow out BEAUTIFULLY. I've never found a stylist who can achieve that with my thick, coarse hair. The rest of the staff is relaxed, kind, always greet me by name, and treat me like a friend. Their prices are standard for the Main Line and the quality of their work is worth the money.

I’ve been going here for over 7 years now because Rachel is amazing. When I come with a crazy idea, she takes the time to talk to discuss the pros and cons with me. She looks out for me and always considers my overall hair health. Both of my sons come here as well!
