I am incredibly pale with combination skin. I went here to restock on an old Dior foundation they no longer sell and was looking like an idiot trying on different shades with no idea what formula would work for my skin. Jasmine saw me struggling and asked if she could help. She shade matched my skin and then pulled a foundation that worked with my combination skin and was SO knowledgable and kind. She honestly shade matched me the best I've ever seen and my makeup is now flawless. She didn't try to push any product on me at all and just genuinely was excellent at all aspects of her job. Telling all my friends to go see Jasmine!

have never had any bad experiences at sephora except this location. every time i try to shop at this store, i feel watched and suspected of, and i can obviously tell that someone is staring me down. i understand security is a concern, but with no bad intentions or sleuthing around, i find it rude and quite disrespectful to be judged like that as a customer who is going to pay premium price for makeup. it ruins the experience and makes me feel rushed each time. please do better.

I have been a loyal Sephora customer for many years, and as someone who values quality products and service, I have always appreciated the range of offerings at your stores. However, my recent experience at Sephora in Ardmore has left me deeply disappointed and compelled me to share my frustration.
After purchasing a makeup product that was highly recommended by Mario, a brand carried by Sephora, I experienced severe breakouts and found the shade to be a complete mismatch for my skin tone. Unfortunately, due to my travel schedule, I wasn’t able to return the product within the 60-day window. Understanding that policies exist for a reason, I still expected some level of customer service and accommodation, especially as a longstanding, valued customer.
When I arrived at Sephora Ardmore, I hoped that the staff would take the time to review my account, see my history of purchases, and offer a solution that reflected a commitment to customer satisfaction. Instead, I was met with a purely transactional response, a rigid adherence to policy with no consideration for my situation or loyalty. It felt as though my years of patronage were meaningless, and I left the store feeling disregarded and unappreciated. Ultimately, I ended up discarding the product, losing the money I spent, and with it, my confidence in Sephora as a brand.
While I understand that businesses need to maintain profitability, it’s disappointing when a company as prominent as Sephora fails to balance financial goals with genuine customer care. This experience has led me to question the values that Sephora stands for and the way it trains its employees. When customers are reduced to mere transactions, the essence of service is lost. I expected more from a brand that prides itself on being a leader in beauty.
I am incredibly disappointed and will no longer be supporting Sephora. I hope this feedback encourages the company to reevaluate how it engages with customers, particularly those who have been loyal for years. True success lies not just in selling products but in fostering relationships that go beyond the checkout counter.

Extremely rude location. As soon as we entered we were told they were closing in 7 minutes and ushered in to make a purchase very quickly. I have worked retail before and understand wanting to get customers out promptly, but the way they did it was extremely rude. The front guard made a joke about an item we suggested for that frankly wasn’t funny. I and my other black friend was followed around the store while our white friend was not bothered at all, and she was the only one who did not buy anything. Extremely pushy and overall rude staff.

I loved the experienceI took my wife there and as a man it was pretty nice. But makeup is just too expensive but it was her birthday and she got a little free gift. The employees were super kind and helped a lot.

I have a gift card sephora store
I wanted to use this card online, but the website said that my card balance was 0! I haven't used my card before! I washed the strip with the code myself. Where did my card balance go?
I have a receipt and of course my gift card.
In the support service and in the store itself where this card was purchased everybody said: We can’t help you, we don’t know what’s wrong. Maybe you lost this card or it's a scam
WHATS?
They stole $100.
I didn't lose it, and no one else used this card. I want to understand where I am being deceived and not provided with appropriate support and investigations!
Perhaps this the employees are doing, anyway IT'S FRAUD!

I was in the Ardmore Sephora today & I had such a positive experience with one of their associates, whose name is Ashley Miller. She went above & beyond trying to help me navigate something in their store, she was super understanding, pleasant, positive & her customer service was on point! Thanks for making my shopping experience there such a positive one Ashley!

On 12/21/23 I stopped by Sephora to purchase a cologne and a parfum for my son and my daughter for Christmas. The young lady (African American light skin Woman) whom I approach to get some help, was one of the worst customer service I experienced. I asked her for one Chance eau de toilette by Chanel and one eau de parfum bleu de Chanel. I'm familiar with bleu de Chanel. However, I did not know that Chance eau de toilette had more than one kind. Unfortunately, the young lady never asked which one I wanted. Well, that was not surprising because she never acknowledged me in the first place, she never smiled and she had an ugly attitude. She also happened to be the one who processed my payment. When my payment was processed, she never said thank you.Despite being a little upset with the experience, I decided not to write a bad review. However, the straw that broke the Camel's back was when my daughter told me on Christmas day” Papa, thank you so much for the gift but you bought the wrong one". If this young lady was interactive, kind and did her job, I would have been informed of such options. I will be going back to Sephora to do the exchange and I will be complaining to a manger as well. I also expect to hear from Corporate about this matter. My problem is not with Sephora directly. However, every employee of Sephora is a representative of it. I'm also willing to amend this review if I have knowledge that Sephora has taken some action to discipline this bad Apple.

Such a horrible shopping experience! I wouldn't even say anything if I didn't feel so uncomfortable. I came into this store because they carry my foundation and I was in a pinch. I asked staff for some additional help with an item I was looking for and they gave off such a rude vibe coupled with many eye rolls... after reluctantly leading me to the section I was looking for (though this is their job) the woman dismissively informed me "oh yeah (eye roll) we don't have that" doesn't even try to offer to help in anyway (I would imagine it could be shipped to my house since it was in stock online) I continued to shop on my own, but this particular woman who was seemingly welcoming guests at the front (not very welcoming in my opinion) checked on me once more with many more eye rolls. I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. I proceeded to check out with the foundation. The cashier was diligent, however I could feel/see the woman who was supposedly helping me walk around the perimeter of the counter with once again many more eye rolls ( this was confirmed as I saw the cashier looking back with eye rolls and turned around to see the woman glaring at the cashier) as if I was doing something wrong by going up to the counter to pay for the items I had located myself without their help. When asked if I was helped, I had to say no! Why would I give someone credit who made me feel so judged for walking in and asking for help with a product location! What a horrible experience and I will never shop at this location again.

Brandi,Many thanks for doing my makeup on Saturday, 8/12/23, my son's wedding day. It was perfect. I particularly liked the eye makeup. It gave me a fresh look, but was not showy. The occasion was to honor my son and daughter-in-law. Competing with them by using my appearance would have been inappropriate. Your contribution to the day helped me to feel poised and allowed me to help them celebrate. Sometimes less is more, and subtlety is the goal. Your understood that and practiced restraint.Maybe the next big event will call for "the glam," and I'm sure you'll be ready and willing to switch gears at that point, if I ask you to do so!The consultation you did for me prior to the wedding was a great idea. It gave each of us an opportunity to think about what I wanted. And that helped to eliminate some of the inevitable anxiety that surfaces on wedding days.Brandi, you are the Best!

On November 11, my adult daughters treated me to a makeup tutorial for my birthday. I needed direction and tricks for easy and tasteful makeup application for women in their 60s. When I was introduced to my twenty-something stylist, Brandi, I wondered if she had any experience working with women my age. WOW! Brandi was very comfortable and knowledgeable about skin care and practical techniques for makeup application on older clients. She developed a color palette that deemphasized dark circles and puffiness around my eyes with light colored shadow, waterproof with no smudge mascara with tidy eyebrows framing my eyes. I suggest that you request Brandi. I had fun, learned about makeup for older women and received a gift for my birthday. Treat yourself!
