On 12/21/23 I stopped by Sephora to purchase a cologne and a parfum for my son and my daughter for Christmas. The young lady (African American light skin Woman) whom I approach to get some help, was one of the worst customer service I experienced. I asked her for one Chance eau de toilette by Chanel and one eau de parfum bleu de Chanel. I'm familiar with bleu de Chanel. However, I did not know that Chance eau de toilette had more than one kind. Unfortunately, the young lady never asked which one I wanted. Well, that was not surprising because she never acknowledged me in the first place, she never smiled and she had an ugly attitude. She also happened to be the one who processed my payment. When my payment was processed, she never said thank you.Despite being a little upset with the experience, I decided not to write a bad review. However, the straw that broke the Camel's back was when my daughter told me on Christmas day” Papa, thank you so much for the gift but you bought the wrong one". If this young lady was interactive, kind and did her job, I would have been informed of such options. I will be going back to Sephora to do the exchange and I will be complaining to a manger as well. I also expect to hear from Corporate about this matter. My problem is not with Sephora directly. However, every employee of Sephora is a representative of it. I'm also willing to amend this review if I have knowledge that Sephora has taken some action to discipline this bad Apple.

Brandi,Many thanks for doing my makeup on Saturday, 8/12/23, my son's wedding day. It was perfect. I particularly liked the eye makeup. It gave me a fresh look, but was not showy. The occasion was to honor my son and daughter-in-law. Competing with them by using my appearance would have been inappropriate. Your contribution to the day helped me to feel poised and allowed me to help them celebrate. Sometimes less is more, and subtlety is the goal. Your understood that and practiced restraint.Maybe the next big event will call for "the glam," and I'm sure you'll be ready and willing to switch gears at that point, if I ask you to do so!The consultation you did for me prior to the wedding was a great idea. It gave each of us an opportunity to think about what I wanted. And that helped to eliminate some of the inevitable anxiety that surfaces on wedding days.Brandi, you are the Best!

On November 11, my adult daughters treated me to a makeup tutorial for my birthday. I needed direction and tricks for easy and tasteful makeup application for women in their 60s. When I was introduced to my twenty-something stylist, Brandi, I wondered if she had any experience working with women my age. WOW! Brandi was very comfortable and knowledgeable about skin care and practical techniques for makeup application on older clients. She developed a color palette that deemphasized dark circles and puffiness around my eyes with light colored shadow, waterproof with no smudge mascara with tidy eyebrows framing my eyes. I suggest that you request Brandi. I had fun, learned about makeup for older women and received a gift for my birthday. Treat yourself!

Had my makeup done by Angel this weekend. She listened to exactly what I wanted and would confirm the color or product she was using with me before going through with it. My makeup lasted for hours- I had a wedding. I got so many compliments on how she did my eyebrows. Thanks Angel!

I'm here constantly, I have a 10 year old daughter, who HAS to have everything in the store. Tic tok drives I in to her head and then she drives it in mine.. store really is fun though and the girls who work there are incredibly nice to the lone males wondering around lost.

Very friendly staff, except for this one person. She’s black and has big poofy hair. She stands by the front rubbing her nails and doesn’t bother greeting anyone who is not black. Every time a black customer walks in or out, she proceeds to greets them, but whenever a non black customer enters and leaves the store, she doesn’t even bother looking up and keeps on rubbing her nails.

I’m disappointed in the staff and manager the day I called for help. I have exclusively bought my makeup with Sephora online and in store for about 8-9 years. I have worn the fenty beauty line for as long as I can remember. Recently I wanted to branch out and see if I could find something else. Soon after I spent a few hundred dollars on new makeup I got really sick and ended up in the hospital, was on bed rest etc. Finally my first day back out I went too work and was going to return the makeup I bought because I didn’t like how it felt and I was sold stuff I’m just not going to use. This would have been the second return that I’ve ever done with Sephora ever, and I was 2 days after my 60 return period and they said too bad so sad because they have a super strict return policy and to try calling the customer service line. I did and they also said there was nothing they could do. Super sad because I feel like I’ve been a very loyal Sephora customer and they just don’t care, and I’m not sure if I want to shop with Sephora again.

I was looking for some makeup to give away as gifts and I noticed that even though it's in the middle of December a lot of their seasonal stuff is gone. They're female perfumes are out already. But I did notice that they have a really good male scents like Armani code that smells like aftershave which I love. Rest of the male colognes were really feminine-esque and I didn't really like it. And the bottles were sometimes opened. But the makeup's also were sometimes limited and I wish I had more inventory like other locations.

I'm gonna say this, my initial review was a lot different and had less stars. I didn't have a first great experience at this location (I'll leave this there), but Marlene took care of me and addressed my concerns. I'd try them out again because of that.

Man here…so I actually enjoy this place. They have a really good selection of colognes that I wear and also a good selection of skincare products that I use in my routine. The sales associates are nice and can offer up some really good alternatives to products that you use or stuff you might want to consider.
