We purchased remote operated window shades 4 years ago from the Shade Store. After continuous daily use, one of the shades no longer fully closed. We called the Shade Store and Cathy Martin the Shade Store representative promptly scheduled and Adam and his assistant for a home visit. They repaired the shade mechanism and our shades now work perfectly. The two technicians arrived on time, were professional and customer oriented. This experience confirmed our decision to “splurge” on the high quality Shade Store products.

From initial project planning, quotes, questions, the team is so responsive and helpful - we have worked with Amie on multiple rooms in our home now project by project and she is so helpful and flexible. We have completed three (3) projects with The Shade Store. Amie has been our sales/design consultant. Our Customer Experience (CX) has been exceptional throughout: Pre-sale (measurement, swatches, sales assistance/questions, quotes, etc.), order process, scheduling, delivery, installation, post-sale questions. We LOVE the product. It is exceptionally high quality and a pleasure to use (we have roller and motorized shades). The shades are beautiful aesthetically. We look forward to working with Amie on 'Project #4' sometime down the road and are confident it will be another great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Terrible experience - don't go near this place. I'm actually shocked by how bad my experience was with this company. The blinds are expensive and not good quality, but worse than that, the customer service is very poor indeed. I ordered blinds for my daughter's bedroom back in early March of 2025. The first and second installation appointments were cancelled last minute on the day of the appointment with the excuse that the technician was sick. Then randomly in May I got a phone call saying the technician was on his way to install blinds on a day that I had not scheduled an appointment. On the third *scheduled* installation appointment, the technician arrived but found the blinds were the wrong width - they were too short for the windows, even though the company had measured the windows themselves! The technician also broke a photo frame in my daughter's bedroom and damaged the wooden frame of windowsill. We have just had the FOURTH scheduled appointment be cancelled last minute. This is not only so inconvenient (I moved my whole work schedule around to be home for the installation) but the end result if that I paid thousands of dollars 3 months ago for blinds that have yet to be installed. No one returns my emails or calls. It's an incredibly frustrating experience and frankly I would advise everyone to go elsewhere for their window treatments - do not waste your time and money. I honestly can't think of a worse customer experience.

This process has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in some time (and I'm generally an easy going client). I've had people out over 5 times and I'm still looking at an incorrectly installed solar shade hanging by a cord 20 ft. in the air. The installation team has been great, but they've been sent out numerous times with incorrect parts, broken equipment, or given the wrong job. What's worst is that I have no idea who's job it is to ensure that this is handled properly and I get little to no response when reaching out. I honestly can't believe this experience with the cost of everything.

Michelle Knight in Ardmore store was great, responsive, and knowledgeable. The whole process was very easy and helpful. Setting up install was easy, and installer Adam was superb.
