Changed my review based on experience Summer 2023. The staff changed & now they trump up needed services /fees-- for simple stuff and refuse to fix unless you get a full tune up. (old review from 3 years ago. Nice staff and they had a tire that fit my bike in the middle of the covid lock down.)

I love this store, I leave happy every time I go in there. They ensure you have good perfomance and comfort on your bike. I am eager to get back into biking and they are just as eager to help me succeed. I just met Joe, the new store manager, and he is fantastic! So patient and kind. I cannot recommend this store enough!

Staff at Trek are always so helpful! Great place to take bikes for tweaks and tuneups. They taught me how to install a bike rack I had bought online onto my car and then load the bikes free of charge.

I looked for a bike at several shops in the Philly area. All were helpful but Trek Ardmore was the best hands down! From start to finish it was an excellent experience, especially for someone who is just trying to get into riding. Jim helped me find the right bike for my needs and goals, never pressuring me to invest more than I needed. The bike was built and ready for me to test ride exactly when agreed upon (which was not the case in other shops). I am very happy I gave Trek Ardmore a try and purchased my bike there. I received help from three people there, all of whom have kindly helped to get me back on a bike!

Not enough stars to give to the team at Trek Ardmore. Technical know-how combined with great customer service.

So many have said this before me in reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to share what a fabulous bike shop this is, and that Anthony, in particular, is The Best. He has outfitted both my husband and my daughter with new bikes, which required tweaks all along the way. His patience, knowledge, and know-how was such a positive first-time experience for our daughter, who is a beginner triathlete. Anthony and EVERYONE (today it was Matt, but we've worked w/ just about everyone here) at this shop truly cares that you are set up properly, happy and safe with your bike. Cannot say enough great things about them!!

These guys are great! Thank you for outfitting my bike with the baggage space I need in order to tackle the Empire State Trail in New York. With the additional space I should be prepared for almost anything!

Anthony at Trek Ardmore has always been the best and continues to be the best. He is super helpful to everyone, from new riders to pros. He works hard to make sure you are satisfied no matter what your bike problem is!

Get a 2nd opinion unless you've got $$$ to burn. They try to get people to buy superfluous repairs & tune ups. Last September they told my son they wouldn't change his break pads because his handle bars were crooked. We got a neighbor to help with the breaks instead. 2 month later he was hit by a car and they took him to Trek Manayunk, they saw NOTHING wrong with the handle bars AT ALL but they did do a tune up, changed his breaks as well as fix the tire and derailleur that were damaged in the accident. 4 months later they told my son they refused to fix his breaks and change his busted inner tube unless he did a full tune up of about $200 (NO mention of any handlebar problem they'd said needed replacing last Fall.) Ardmore is a mixed income neighborhood. Stop the elitist bullpoo and look out for everybody in the neighborhood and stop refusing to do repairs without a full tune up. No kid is gonna stop riding there bike because of tiny tweks & it just stop regular income folks form getting the repairs they need. This store is a part of a problem, that makes bike sports inaccessible to regular income kids. Not everybody in LM can just give out $200 on a whim. Don't exploit kids desires to ride their bikes by refusing to do smaller individual repairs without a full tune up! smh

The young man who showed us around was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Tall blonde guy, didn’t get his name but just wanted to say how helpful he was - he gave us really good explanations for everything he was doing as he showed us. Will definitely be back here for all my cycling needs!

One of the rare bike shops where the staff doesn't cop an attitude about how much you know or don't know, or don't care, about the technical side of bikes. They've always been super helpful and engaging.
