Happy after visiting WWS. Great staff with good knowledge of hifi. Was looking for bookshelf speakers for my medium room. They had Focals Dynaudio Klipsch B&W mainly for demo at Ardmore store. And a wide variety of Integrateds for demo. Yamaha, MCIntosh, Nad, Cambridge, Marantz when I visited. Decided to get a B&W after auditioning for 30 mins. Pretty impressed. Thanks Ryan and Tommy.

I went in to exchange some ANC headphones and Ryan was the chillest dude imaginable. Easy to work with, very nice. My experience was short but he was awesome.

The salespeople at the store are clearly trying to get as much money out of you as they can. I came into the shop to make a purchase and asked for the advertised sale price. The salesman said that sale ended last week. I took him at his word but later went online and checked, he had tried to squeeze me for extra $. I was able to get the difference refunded but it was a sleazy experience.

I had a great experience with the Ardmore store and Ryan.He offered advice, tips and was patient working with me.I purchased an awesome stereo system and a new tv. Their support, delivery and communications all exceeded my expectations. It’s hard to find great customer service. These guys deliver it . They also carry top notch products at competitive pricing.

We had an exceptionally positive experience with Ryan at the Ardmore store. After we had a factory-related issue with a TV that we purchased a few days before Christmas, Ryan tried to reschedule installation before our family arrived for Christmas but there was no availability until after January 1. Ryan then volunteered to come to our house two days before Christmas, delivered the relacement part and installed the TV himself so that we would have the TV up and running in time for our pre-planned family movie night. He was also technically knowledgeable when we were in the store sorting through our options and provided excellent technical advice we needed for our Sonos Move speaker. It was extraordinary customer service. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Bought a pair of Forte IV’s from world wide stereo a few months ago. I had an issue where audio was cutting out every now and then. Called their support and they walked me though a few things and fixed the issue. Great service.

What a great job World Wide completed for me. I had an old Elan whole house system that outlived its usefulness. World Wide came in and was able to use part of my old system and installed a new Sonos whole house sound option, that is truly exceptional. They were very thorough in scheduling my install and the technicians were extremely efficient and cut down on my projected install time.A special thank you to Tommy who designed the system.As to the cost of the project i felt they were very fair in their pricing.For my project and work performed they exceeded expectations!!!

I wanted to share my extremely positive experience dealing with World Wide Stereo -- both the Ardmore, PA store and the customer helpdesk. Thriving local businesses that care about their customers are at the heart of their communities so, whenever I can, I like to support them.I recently purchased a Sonos Amp (back ordered) and 4 Bowers & Wilkins CCM 684 ceiling speakers. I love to listen to music at home but would not call myself an audiophile. In fact, I'm quite a neophyte when it comes to higher-end audio equipment. I wanted to take the opportunity presented by a back-to-the-studs kitchen remodel to put in ceiling speakers. I was aware of B&W as a quality brand but, having done a little online research, was was open to professional recommendations. I knew World Wide Stereo would give solid advice, based on their local reputation.I dealt initially with Patrick in the Ardmore store. My predisposition towards B&W, together with Patrick's endorsement and the experience of listening to a pair, was enough to convince me to spend more than I ever thought I would spend on speakers. I ordered them a few days later and the were shipped to my home, arriving within just a couple of days. The kitchen construction is still ongoing with the ceiling not yet up, so I have not heard them at home yet. I'm very impressed with the quality and ingenuity of the speaker design, which is likely to make installation very simple and (I hope) quick.Even though not legally required in residential buildings (only commercial premises), I decided I wanted to install back boxes for the speakers. These will not only help insulate the sound from a second-floor home office, but should also improve sound quality downstairs. The B&W OEM back boxes seem steeply priced at $150 each (more than a third of the cost of each speaker). They are also very hard to find used. Other manufacturers offer cheaper alternatives but I was concerned about suitability for the 684s. In the end, I designed my own back boxes, using Hardie backer (concrete) board and acoustic foam bought via Amazon. My contractor helped me build them and I am very happy. My total outlay on two 5'x3' sheets of board and some acoustic foam (plus a nominal amount for a couple of hours of the contractor's time) is around $60 per box -- pretty good for a custom solution.During the the past few weeks, a couple of technical questions occurred to me. I was passing the Ardmore store and Ryan was very helpful in answering a question about optional speaker placement. I also called the Worldwide customer helpdesk a couple of times -- as I said, I am pretty new to this -- and was assisted by the very helpful and knowledgeable Ira. It struck me as a sign of a great business that Ira appeared as excited by my home-made back boxes as me, and genuinely exuded a passion for making customers' listening experience as pleasurable as possible, without needing to break the bank. One of the best customer service experiences we’ve had in many years! Tommy was a true pleasure to work with! We arrived having little idea of what we wanted and with great warmth, extensive knowledge and quick understanding of our situation, Tommy showed us a variety of turntables, and speakers (they carry all the manufacturers in which we were interested) …guiding us to a set up we are very excited about and can’t wait to use! And we never once felt pressured. A true professional, he was extremely generous with his time, patience and awesome music, might I add! He shared a great deal of information about related topics such as vinyl tips, cleaning and even assisted us with another system we already had at home. The store is an extraordinary experience for any audiophile, and their wide selection of tvs, speakers, sound systems, and cabinetry is quite impressive! Thank you for allowing us to experience all of of it, Tommy. That home theater set up is spectacular!

So many great things to say until I'm speechless. The staff took an interest in all my curiosities about the equipment, the furniture they have for you to sit in,the interior design in the store even the plant that was used to add to the decor it was so perfectly green one of the workers thought it was artificial he was shocked to know all that time it was real. They even told me the trick used to make it look so beautiful. Even tho the store is full of high tech equipment I felt like I was in someone's living room. I wasn't even doing the purchasing my husband was, while I was discovering what a great place this is. Kudos to the whole staff and thanks, I had fun discovering all the unexpected equipment displayed.

Brian and Patrick were great ambassadors for WWS and answered all of my questions regarding my new Frame TV without hesitation. Their depth of knowledge is incredible. There's a reason I go to WWS rather than the big box stores ... when you're making an investment that you're counting on lasting for years you want to start that journey with people who have been around the block a few times. I can't recommend WWS highly enough!
