S & J Grocery & Deli is a great little mom and pop store known for its excellent hoagies, considered the best in the valley. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Service is always great and the quality is as well, with customers never let down. However, some find the hoagies not worth the price and lackluster. A recurring issue is the store sometimes being closed during business hours with no indication of reopening. Despite this, many consider it a gem.
Update as of 4/29 The new owners are a welcome addition to the neighborhood sandwiches are delicious and fresh and even better friendly service

The staff was so friendly and I may have been a pain asking for everything on the side. But, the hoagies are for tomorrow and I didn't want them to get soggy... They were very accommodating.

Service is always great and the quality is as well. However I can't count how many times I've gone down during business hours only to discover they are closed with no indication of when they will reopen. If not for that it'd be a solid 10/10.
