The worst pharmacy in the planet.rude pharmacy techs and incompetent pharmacists. The store harms really nice people. It is just the pharmacy ..nasty people

There's always an issue with getting refills from the doctor, sometimes getting notified of refills and oftentimes not. I'd say 7 out 10 time the pharmacy person on the phone is rude, not willing to do one step further and rushes me off the phone. I've experienced more help and courtesy at the window. I miss living closer to the Media CVS, never had a problem with them.

This is one of nicest CVS store associates I've been to. I drive further than I have to. Always clean well stocked and friendly..Good job

I am finally quitting on the CVS at 5020 Pennell Rd, Aston (next to Urgent Care). The hours that the pharmacy is open are lousy. Also, they close at lunch time DAILY - the time when most of us can run out to pick up our scripts. They spend 10 minutes searching through multiple bins for your scripts EVERY TIME. Are the bins random? There has got to be a better way. I almost always run into a problem. Today, I went to pick up a script. I called in advance and got the recording that it was available until May 24. The counter person looked for it. Not there. Then told me that the prescriber's license had run out and I would have to get another doc to write my script. I am like....why didn't anyone call me? I got the message that it was here, so I came to get it. So, after I left, I called to find out the prescriber's name (there are several providers at the same office). I get the message that my script is ready for me to pick up. I stayed on the line to speak to a person. 10 minute wait ???. Person answers. I could barely hear the person and they were NOT personable. Don't go to work if you can't be personable. I asked to speak to someone in charge. I am assuming it was the pharmacist - who was personable, but cannot give me a reason as to why no one called me when I called in the script and why no one called me when the problem was fixed. This was my last experience with this place. Wish me luck with my next CVS.

The last 4 times I've been here to pick up prescriptions for my kids, they haven't been ready. Doctors office had called things in hours before and still not ready. They allow you to wait but have no chairs because they reserve them for vaccination patients. Just overall extremely inconvenient

Customer service in the pharmacy is truly lacking ! Either they need to hire more assoc for check out or post a sign about wait times !

I wish there was a negative star for this place . Once again they were even rude to the nurse at children's hospital . My daughter has a lung disease and is on timed medicine that she needs to be able to breath . They wait until the last possible day and then say they're busy . Well I wish I knew where I could report them too .

I picked up a refill prescription which was labeled correctly but had been filled with pills that were 5-time stronger then I was prescribed. Fortunately for me, I noticed the pill shape was different and I looked it up prior to taking it. If I had consumed one of these pills, there is a chance that I would not be writing this review. CVS does not hire enough pharmacist to fill prescriptions. They instead hire pham techs to pull pills and take photos that a pharmacist approves. In the end I called and they refilled my prescription correctly but changed the first name of the pharmacist on the label. Two wrongs don't make this situation right; it's borderline criminal. Check you prescriptions before leaving the counter!

I just moved to this area and had one of the best CVS's where I lived. Going to the Aston CVS has been a nightmare. This store is probably the worst CVS I have ever experienced. Going to the pharmacy has been a nightmare they are slow and incompetent. The pharmacist will never do an override with the insurance and just let people runout of medicine. It would be nice to get a phone call about a medicine that was denied by the pharmacy but never once did they contacted me. I ended up switching to the Rite Aid down the street and couldn't be happier

This is by far the worst CVS ever. Utterly bad customer service. Ridiculously long waits. No courtesy to return calls or help with prescription refills. Stupidest updates around hours of operation. I wish I can give zero stars.
